A cable network approached us about making a reality series about UFO abductees and after talking to the head of the production company, Whitley became convinced that he took this subject seriously, so we said yes. Part of the shooting consisted of interviews with so-called "abductees"–many of whom have implants (just like Whitley has). The film crew also wanted to shoot some footage of Whitley working at his computer in our apartment in LA, so we agreed to that too.

Talk about revelations! I thought I knew everything about Whitley’s UFO experiences, but I’ve gotten two new pieces of information?one of them brand-new?which put it in a whole new light.

One of the pieces isn’t really new. I learned it about 4 years ago, when Whitley accompanied me to a psychologist, after I got home from being in the hospital for 6 weeks due to a burst aneurysm in my brain. I asked my G.P. for a reference to a “shrink,” because I wanted someone to discuss some of my feelings and reactions with. Whitley accompanied me, but when we got there, HE was the one who opened up.

UPDATE: This is not a political website, but I’ve decided that Obama has my vote and for a unique reason: His running mate, Joe Biden, had a burst aneurysm like I did, and I know what that does for you.

Lately there’s been a great controversy about whether “the surge”–which sent 28,000 more troops into Iraq a year ago– has “worked” or not, with the US military and John McCain saying yes, it’s been effective and critics of the war saying no, it hasn’t been. But to me the whole question is a matter of words and is thus completely meaningless.

In the play (and later movie) "Prelude to a Kiss," an old man manages to enter the body of a beautiful young bride when he kisses her, to the great consternation of the bridegroom (who somehow KNOWS his new wife is different, and he’s right: She’s now a grouchy old man in a beautiful young woman’s body!) When the old man is finally persuaded to leave, his parting words of wisdom are: "Don’t forget to floss." Well, I have some hard-earned wisdom for YOU: Drink lots of water!
