The video posted here is typical of a rash of UFO videos that have been posted recently from people visiting Yellowstone. It has been noted for years that UFO sightings spike before and during volcanic eruptions, so does this mean that the Yellowstone Supervolcano is less stable than most scientists believe?
If it erupted, it would jeopardize life in the United States. The country would change completely, largely because its rich grain growing areas would be covered by trillions of tons of volcanic ash. It would, in other words, be a disaster of unparalleled proportions. While there has been no eruption at Yellowstone in 650,000, a recent European Science Foundation report entitled "Extreme Geo-hazards: Reducing the Disaster Risk and Increasing Resilience," it is suggested that there is a 5 to 10 percent chance of an eruption in the next 80 years. Most volcanologists believe that an eruption is unlikely within the next 10,000 years.
