Daylight Saving Time can be hazardous for your health. On average, people go to work or school on the first Monday of Daylight Saving after sleeping 40 fewer minutes than normal. And recent studies have found there’s a higher risk of heart attacks, traffic accidents and workplace injuries on the first Monday of Daylight Saving. Researcher Nidhi Undevia says, “Many people already are chronically sleep-deprived, and Daylight Saving Time can make them even more tired for a few days.”

Something very strange has happened: A cure for Alzheimer’s may have been discovered in soil from Easter Island. Bacteria isolated from the dirt in this mysterious, isolated place has cured memory deficits in mice.

A drug called Rapamycin, which keeps the immune system from attacking transplanted organs, cured brain lesions in mice with Alzheimer’s. It is also being tested in cancer research studies.

British Astronomer Royal Martin Rees thinks that aliens may be here but only a few people see them because they are invisible to most of us. This goes along with the information that Anne Strieber received from the half a million letters from contactees that she read: In a group of people, one or two would be contacted (or even abducted!), while the others saw (and experienced) nothing unusual.
