One study showed that autism can be reversed. Now a researcher has found a way to reverse the devastating condition known as Alzheimer’s.

An extraordinary new scientific study, there was marked improvement in Alzheimer?s disease within minutes of administration of a therapeutic molecule. Molecules called cytokines (TNFs) are a critical component of the brain’s immune system, and researchers think that elevated levels of them in Alzheimer’s disease interfere with this regulation, so they gave patients an injection of an anti-TNF ingredient and saw almost instant improvement.

Nick Redfern has spent the last five years in search of cryptid creatures the world over. Whitley Strieber has had a few encounters with odd beasties, for sure, and this week he talks to Nick Redfern about a particularly wild encounter with a gigantic bird that took place in Connecticut in 1979, long before he had close encounter experiences. It turns out that giant birds were sighted during that period from South Texas to Newfoundland, as they apparently moved up the coast during the spring. This is a wonderfully weird and wide-ranging discussion about a topic that is absolutely fascinating, and leaves us with the question, ‘what is this world we live in…really?’.

Want to know why traffic seems to be worse than ever? One reason may be cell phones.

A recent study shows that drivers who talk on cell phones drive slower on the freeway, pass sluggish vehicles less often and take longer to complete their trips.

Psychologist Dave Strayer says, “At the end of the day, the average person’s commute is longer because of the person who is on the cell phone right in front of them. That SOB on the cell phone is slowing you down and making you late.”

Psychologist Joel Cooper agrees and says, “If you talk on the phone while you?re driving, it’s going to take you longer to get from point A to point B, and it’s going to slow down everybody else on the road.”
