This is an unusual area for such an intense earthquake swarm. Swarms like this either mean a large quake is coming or that pressure is being released on a fault. Unfortunately, we don’t know how to tell the difference. If these do portend a larger quake, it is apt to be a big one.

  1. There’s been lots of internet
    There’s been lots of internet chatter for months prior to this earthquake swarm of some big event in that exact area. Some are saying it may involve a dimensional portal opening, etc. Also, lots of military activity there for months too.

    The fact that earthquakes are now happening there too (after all the wild rumors) may be more than just coincidence.
