The Afterlife Revolution is now on sale. I’m hoping that people will see it for what it is and not think ‘ho hum, another Whitley Strieber book.’

There has never been anything like it in this world.

Working on it has been the peak writing experience of my life. It wasn’t just that it involves contact with Anne, which is lovely, but that she has brought forth such knowledge and wisdom, and in the context of the warmest, deepest sort of relationship I have ever known or known to be possible.

I never knew it could be like this. Never dreamed that it could. I know now that I’m not alone and that we do live on. There are many people living quietly like this, embracing one another between the worlds. But we are writers and Anne is a first-class teacher, and this has enabled us to bring into words something that has never been written down before.

Our book is a collaboration between two people—lovers and dear friends—one of whom is physical and the other, as Anne puts it, is “light, alive.” Our marriage has reached a level of intimacy and depth that I did not know existed before. In fact, as I write this, she is with me, and the words are coming from both of us.

She says, “a lot of people who read it will think to themselves, ‘this is impossible for me.’” She asks me to put forward her idea of “locked expectations.” This happens because we are designed to pick up signals for the most part from the physical world. The needs of the body, the emotional life, the striving of ego—all of these things and more drown out the subtle inner whisper of the soul, and because we never hear our souls or feel their presence as part of us, we lose track of them and are left with a deep, unstated conviction that the material world is all that is.

We hope that our book can unlock the expectations of our readers, and enable them to rediscover their own souls and so also their place in the real world, and enable them to hear the voices of those who have passed before, seek their attention and offer to continue and expand the loving relationships that were there when both were alive.

They are calling to us, those we call “the dead.” Our book is testament to the fact that, if we are attentive enough, and bring in all its power the love we feel for those we cherish on the other side, a new life can be formed, not only for individuals, but eventually for the whole of mankind.

In this new world, the living and the dead will walk hand in hand, in realms of which we can hardly now dream.

  1. Heaven and Earth, at last
Heaven and Earth, at last perhaps, as one…or the start of the journey toward that, leaving our species’s childhood behind.

  3. I’m looking forward to
I’m looking forward to reading the book. It’s now $3.99 on Amazon Kindle. I preordered on Amazon for $7.99 so I’ll consider the $4 a contribution to Unknown Country.

  5. I just finished the Afterlife
I just finished the Afterlife Revolution and I am thrilled that I chose to purchase this lovely book. Many of us have spent years with Whitley and Anne Streiber, and have been rewarded over time by the deep insights that they have generously shared with us. This book takes that learning journey to a new level of possibility. Thank you, Whitley for sharing this with your readers and your long-time listeners. And, thanks to Anne for finding a wonderful way to keep teaching us. I loved this book!

  9. As with many of us, I have
As with many of us, I have lost close friends and relatives over the years that has deeply affected me and others in my family as well. We keep their memories alive but I often wonder, “Is there life after death?” It seems a waste, if after accumulating experiences and learning throughout our lifetime, to simply just pass away – that’s it. “There has to be more,” I say to myself. Hopefully your book will answer my question. I look forward to reading it! I hope it will help. And I’m already thinking of which friends and relatives to give to as gifts this Holiday season. Moreover, too bad this website’s community forum (if there will be one) has not been programmed/set up yet! I’m sure I’ll have questions that I could post. Finally, with the Kindle at $3.99 and the paperback for under twelve dollars, this is a steal! 🙂

  11. I just started reading it.
I just started reading it. But a question occurred to me, Whitley, who is going to channel YOU when you’ve crossed over? Your wisdom and gently thoughtful writing style will be missed. (Not trying to make you feel old, none of us knows who’ll be crossing over before who!)

  13. I am very glad to see that
I am very glad to see that Gary Schwartz recommends and was involved in this book. He will be a bridge for others to read it, who might have ignored it, otherwise. As always, Whitley’s and Anne’s thoughts are miles ahead of anything else out there, in my opinion.
