Now the inventor of the Segway says he has invented a machine that can take nearly any source of moisture?even ocean water, urine or sewage?and quickly turn it into safe drinking water.

Scientists in Australia, which despite being surrounded by water, is having a major drought, want to use solar power to run desalinization plants, in order to avoid the additional problem of greenhouse gas emissions, since many of these are given off by power plants that create electricity.
