Much has been made of Whitley Strieber’s book-that-won’t-quit, The Key that brings to mind 2 simple questions: How do we discern an experiencer’s truthfulness when they bring forth extraordinary claims with no direct evidence? And, What are our motives in asking?
Lately I have noticed an increase in challenges to my book the Key. These seem to come mostly from people who are troubled by two things: first, that it blames the holocaust for the fact that we are trapped on Earth; second, that it asserts that “sin is denial of the right to thrive.”
The technique used in these attacks is to point out the similarity between my previous work and some of the statements in the book, thus by extension discrediting statements like those above as being just my opinion and therefore lacking the imprimatur of the mysterious.

When Whitley Strieber’s book ‘The Key‘ was published in 2001, on of the Master of the Key’s predictions was that there were other universes beyond our own, an idea generally discredited at the time. But now astrophysicists are theorizing that areas of the universe that are experiencing more rapid rates of expansion than others may have given rise to a multitude of pocket universes, perhaps even exhibiting their own laws of physics. A new study has found potential evidence that these pocket universes may have collided with our own in the distant past.

A recent Unknown Country news article outlined the results of a poll in which representatives from the global population were canvassed for their opinions. The poll asked participants which from a list of dangers they considered to be the most likely to threaten continued human existence.
The options given in the poll ranged from nuclear weapons, religious and ethnic hatred, pollution and environmental disasters, economic crisis and disease. Yet, according to an Oxford philosophy professor who has performed extensive research in the field of all such existential threats, the biggest threat to mankind’s future may be "super-intelligence."
