He reports that Lieutenant Walter Haut, who was the public relations officer at the base in 1947 who issued the original press release after the UFO crash on the orders of his base commander, Col. William Blanchard, left a deathbed affadavitconfirming details of the incident. Haut died last year, but he left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death. The contents of that deathbed testimony have now been revealed, and they support details in Whitley Strieber’snovel Majestic, which were relayed to him by General ArthurExon.
