One earthquake leads to another, and California may be the next in line for a devastating earthquake, based on one particular indicator: the recent mass deaths of birds, fish and marine mammals. The Right Perspective website quotes biologist Arunachalam Kumar as saying, "It is my observation, confirmed over the years, that mass suicides of whales and dolphins that occur sporadically all over the world, are in some way related to change and disturbances in the electromagnetic field co-ordinates and possible realignments of geotectonic plates thereof. I would not be surprised if within a few days a massive quake hits some part of the globe."

Another indication of coming quakes may be the moon: Geologist Jim Berkland suspects that the gravitational force of the moon can trigger quakes, and the moon will make be closer to Earth than its been in the last 18 years on March 19th. Right Perspective quotes seismologist John Vidale as saying, "Both the moon and sun do stress the Earth a tiny bit, and when we look hard we can see a very small increase in tectonic activity when they’re aligned." He says that at times of full and new moons, "you see a less-than-1-percent increase in earthquake activity, and a slightly higher response in volcanoes."

And one of those indicators is still going on: Thousands of anchovies have floated lifelessly to the surface in Redondo Beach. Millions of the tiny, smelly dead fish cover the bottom of the ocean and they were noticed when they began to rise to the surface. It looks as if they died from lack of oxygen, but there are no red tides in the area. Is this yet another indication of climate change? CNN quotes local resident Walter Waite as saying, "This morning when I got up, there were millions and millions of them floating everywhere." They quote local police department spokesman Phil Keenan as saying, "We need to get rid of them. This is going to create a terrible pollution and health issue if we don’t."
