This could be a simple graphic, or even a common sundog, but given the witness description it also could be a real UFO. It was seen to spin, to maneuver, then to suddenly disappear. We’re rating this one a possible UFO, but without video footage showing the motions that the witness describes, it’s impossible to say more than that this is a very provocative story.

Interesting video. Probably too small to be a balloon with internal lighting, not a plane or bird because of the erratic pattern of movement, not a computer graphic–so, this is a likely unknown object, and what’s even more interesting is that it appears to have been ‘called’ by CSETI Montreal. The ability to call these lights is one of the most perplexing aspects of the UFO phenomenon.

As Anne has written in her diary, our friend of 30 years, Margot Adler, has died. She was one of the most alive, delightful and delighted human beings I have ever met. Margot could be serious and go deep, but she could also explode with joy and dancing and wonderful wildness. She was the author of a major work on paganism, Drawing Down the Moon, and also a reporter for NPR for many years. For a time before National Public Radio existed, she was on WBAI radio with a late-late show called Hour of the Wolf. I was on it with her a number of times. I suppose because I’m too much of a pariah for NPR, her occasional efforts to use me on air for the most part failed.

Our good friend, wiccan Margot Adler died last week. Margot was an NPR reporter and she was also a Wiccan. We never knew for sure if she believed in an afterlife, but as the dead now so often appear in our lives, I wanted to get in touch with her spirit. But how to do this?

I remembered that Laurence Gardner told us that green was the color of magic, and Margot was as magical a person as I have ever met. So I decided to look for things that were green. But since we were visiting in the country, there was green all around us. Whitley said that I should look for things that are not normally green, if that was where I was hoping to find a sign. read more
