People investigating a Canadian crop circle didn’t notice the UFO flying in the sky above them, but saw it later in a photo they took. They describe the UFO as looking like a “flying tray.” There’s also a small ball of light in the sky. Look at the photo, and decide for yourself. It remains in our archives as story number 752. It was posted about five minutes after American Airlines Flight 11 had impacted the World Trade Center. It is a simple, short story, put up as we were frantically trying to dimensionalize the crisis.

Military sources were telling us that Continental US Forces were about to go on the highest possible alert. In San Antonio, a military town, fighters were patrolling the skies, afterburners blazing. And yet airports at that moment had no plans to close.

We sensed that this was a terrorist attack, because the day was clear and the chances of a passenger jet striking a building of the size of the World Trade Center were very small.

On the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on Washington D.C. and the Twin Towers in New York, the Israeli military has announced that al-Qaeda recently tried to hijack a Saudi F-15E fighter and crash it into a major office tower in Israel.

Because of this, Israel is trying to get the U.S. to convince the Saudis to remove their fleet of 50 F-15Es from the King Faisal Air Base in nearby Tabuk. They were flown there in March, 2003 and Saudi Arabia has refused to return them to their bases in other parts of the country. This gives rise to the speculation that they may be planning to cooperate with al-Qaeda on a strike against Israel. The planes were sold to the Saudis by the U.S.

Most of us cringe every time we turn on the news, fearing that we’ll hear about the death of another soldier in Iraq. But they aren’t just dying from stealth attacks and car bombs, they’re contracting mysterious illnesses as well. Suicide is another cause of death–while only a few of these have been reported in the media, we have a personal contact in Iraq who says there have been many more, which are listed as "noncombatant deaths."
