A series of UFOs spotted over the Chilean island of Chiloé sparked numerous fires on the ground on September 25. Residents of Dalcahue City reported seeing the fireballs tumbling through the sky, before they struck the ground, causing at least seven fires, prompting a response from local firefighters. The Director
Leading UFO researcher and reporter Leslie Kean reports that Chilean authorities have released a remarkable, 9-minute video of an apparent UFO, recorded by two officers aboard a Chilean Navy helicopter. This video is being released after a 2-year investigation by the Comité de Estudios de Fenómenos Aéreos Anómalos (CEFAA), the Chilean government’s UFO investigative agency, and the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC), Chile’s equivalent to the FAA. Despite having been thoroughly investigated by these agencies, their experts were unable to provide an explanation as to what the object in question is.
A powerful earthquake struck off the coast of Chile at 3:54 PM Pacific Daylight Time. The quake was at a depth of 15.5 miles and was 145 Miles NNW of Santiago. The quake struck in the Nazca Plate Region, which is one of the most active earthquake zones on the Pacific Rim and in the world. The quake took place on the South American arc, which marks the boundary between the Nazca Plate and the South American Plate and stretches approximately 6,000 miles along the South American Coast. The relatively shallow depth of the quake and the slow upward gradient of the ocean floor toward land in the region has caused the tsunami warning, but no serious wave action ensued.
The Chilean government has released the results of a study that has declared two sightings of aerial phenomena as "genuine unidentified flying objects."
The study, which has been conducted by the CEFAA (Committee for the Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena), has analyzed two high-quality photographs of UFOS seen flying over the Collahuasi copper mine, situated high up on the Andean plateau in the far north of Chile.
