The United States today filed papers with the United Nations indicating that it has the legal right to expand its military operations to countries outside of Afghanistan.
At the same time, it became more likely that an anthrax event in Boca Raton, Florida was a terrorist attack. It is believed that Iraq has an extensive stock of anthrax.
It is known that terrorist leader Mohammed Atta met with Iraqi intelligence agents in Prague last summer. Atta took flying lessons within a few miles of the offices of American Media where the anthrax spores have appeared.
President George W. Bush has said that the United States will retaliate against all states that harbor terrorists or aid them in their efforts.
