Strange clouds appear worldwide – In the June 5th edition of the Daily Mail, Luke Salkeld describes the strange clouds that are currently being seen in the UK. He describes them as “whipped into fantastical shapes, these clouds hang over the darkening landscape like the harbingers of a mighty storm.” But despite their threatening appearance, they usually do not lead to rain. Does this have something to do with global warming?

But the UK isn’t the only place where mysterious clouds threaten: in China, they recently turned day into night. On Yahoo.com, ABC News has a report by Stephen McDonell and Rob Hill, who say they saw the freak storm in Beijing on June 16. Yahoo quotes McDonell as saying, “It was pitch black outside and you could see people looking out from the office towers across the road from us.” Hail storms also hit areas of the country, even though it is summer.
