“When Lue Elizondo was asked how people would react if they knew what he knew about all of this, he replied, ‘somber.'” That’s from this incredible interview with Nick Pope. Whitley and Nick go down some exciting new paths and some ‘somber’ paths in this interview. Nick has been on Dreamland many times, but we don’t recall him and Whitley ever going in directions like this before. Listen as they discuss matters a hidden reason for the secrecy, insider fears that the visitors may be demons, and some of the darker dangers of disclosure. But it’s not all dark–they also have a hilarious exchange about what would happen if the visitors really DID land on the White House Lawn! Only Whitley can conduct an interview like this, and Nick is one of just a handful of researchers who can answer questions like the ones you will hear in this show with such brilliance and insight.

Nick, William Henry, Giorgio Tsoukalos, David Childress and Dr. Travis Taylor are appearing nationwide in Ancient Aliens Live shows. Are they coming to your area? Click here to find out and get tickets!

  1. At one point during the interview, Whitley mentioned his short story “Falling Apart”.

I managed to find it, published in ‘Omni Science Fiction’ magazine, issue 139 (April 1990). It goes across three pages (57, 64 & 65) and can be found here…

The other one Whitley mentioned, called “The Open Doors”, was published by HarperPrism (1997), in a book collection called “Revelations”.

  2. “Falling Apart” by Whitley Strieber is indeed online. Published in Omni Science Fiction 139 April 1990, it is reproduced on the williamflew website (www.williamflew.com/oni139d.html). Early Buddhist texts refer to highly technological, highly long lived “humans” living on another terrestrial “continent.” The Lotus Sutra refers to bodhisattvas who inhabit the interior of the earth. And of course we have the Kalachakra prediction of the manifestation of Shambhala in 2424.

    1. You can never have too many links to the same place 😉 …also, thanks for the additional Buddhist text info, that is fascinating.

        1. I did…I thought it was a strange mixture between amusing and horrific. I’m struggling to find an actual word for that, other than ‘hilarifying’ (Urban Dictionary). It reminds me of a time I was in a movie theatre watching “Looper”…and there was a lad a few rows back, laughing out loud at the blood spattery bits. It was seriously distracting and annoying, as it was a pivotal moment in the film but I guess that is just one of the ways people deal with horrifying scenes. It was also an excellent ‘mindfulness’ moment for me, as I watched my urge to punch him in the nose, bubble to the surface and then recede!

          1. I read it too. I actually had a serious foot injury that same day, and felt like my toe was about to fall off, which made the story even more interesting.

          2. Alexander, I hope your foot heals quickly.

What would you call the coincidence of reading that short story, whilst feeling that your toe was dropping off…reverse serendipity? Apparently there is a word for that – zemblanity – which almost sounds like something out of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”!

          3. My life is one continuous synchronicity. I’ve actually been experiencing an intimation of a fall for several days.

  3. ‘Falling Apart’—I subscribed to ‘Omni’ and was so disappointed when it was no longer published. It was great, and I do remember Whitley’s story. It wasn’t just science fiction, but also had interviews, real science articles, as well as those involving the paranormal, UFOs, and even parapsychology.

I’ll need to listen to ‘The Open doors’ again—it’s been a long time. There were some interesting synchronicities around the crop formation called ‘The Open Doors’ back in 2006 (2007?) and they were strange enough that Whitley and I were both taken aback by them. The Alamo, oddly enough, played a part, so much so that Whitley did a crop formation meditation based on ‘The Open Doors’.

The interviews on ‘Dreamland’ for this year have been extraordinary, and this one was no exception. ‘Toxic’ alien bodies and their effect on living things and reality? Did Nick Pope watch ‘X Files’? I seem to remember that being a story line, so I’m familiar with it—and it is creepy. It’s all so weird, and we have not reached a point where we can even begin to define any of it.

JPL and demons…I am not surprised that some officials and people in the UFO community subscribe to the idea of demons being involved. Jack Parsons, one of JPL’s founders, was deeply involved with all kinds of questionable stuff, people, and belief systems. So, I have to wonder if some of the ideas about demons don’t have some basis in what Parsons was doing. (Parson’s wife even portrayed him as a ‘Dark Angel’ in one of her artworks.) In any case, his shenanigans, along with those of Aleister Crowley, and his being called ‘Lam’, seem on the periphery of all this. Has anyone ever tied this in to the ‘demon’ thing with the paradigm of some thinking about UFOs and other beings, even among some military and government officials? Could some kind of portal have been opened by Crowley or Parsons pre-Roswell, allowing in both good and ‘bad’ forces? Has Pope ever given thought to this?

This interview brought a lot up for me to think about…

    2. It’s important to know that Crowley did *not* approve of Jack Parsons’s shenanigans and Parsons’s activities were not typical of Crowley’s teachings or practices. Crowley saw through Hubbard immediately and warned Persons against his attempts to make a “moonchild,” quoting Eliphas Levi. Crowley disliked the Agape Lodge intensely and it was closed down by Crowley’s successor, Karl Germer. It was the British tabloid press and Kenneth Grant and John Symonds who popularized this view of Crowley.

      1. I did not intend to imply a connection between Parsons and Crowley, two very different guys. Crowley was a very interesting personality, and along with Gardner played a part in modern-day Wiccan practices. My main point was that Crowley channeled an alien being, that he called ‘Lam’, that resembled the beings we call ‘Grays’, long before Whitley or anyone else, as far back as 1917…And he may have opened a portal via rituals:

        https://www.vice.com/en/article/mvpvyn/magickal-stories-lam

Parsons was unusual too (and a follower of Crowley), and both approached similar practices but through a very different lens, Parsons incorporating his practices with science…not a good combination, and not unlike what Nazis were doing in Germany pre WWII. Actually some very frightening stuff, and he was a real genius. And he may have opened a portal too, which is why…I see why some people, even in government fearing a demonic element in this. I would like to know if Pope, and others, have made this connection between demonic ‘aliens’, and Crowley and Parsons and what they were doing many years ago.

        1. It’s true! Many UFOlogists point to the origin of the modern phenomenon at least in the 1940s – interestingly, a decade the significance of which was predicted by another Crowley “alien,” Aiwaz, back in 1904 – but if we accept Lam as a grey (see Whitley’s interview with Lawrence Galian) we should give Crowley his due and recognize that the modern phenomenon originated with his experience with Lam. So far as opening a portal goes, it’s also interesting to note that Loch Ness was associated with a beast centuries before Crowley took up residence there. Perhaps Loch Ness is a “power place.” 🙂

    3. I certainly have, Cosmic! If I understand it, Crowley was a major behind the scenes driver of his research, which has, setting even the “weird and strange” aspects aside, has set the stage for the race to form the grid (cage?) of satellites in space by the current oligarchs who are not even bound by treaties or laws. Parsons (as Crowley’s tool) has opened many doors. I have thought about it quite a bit!

      1. I can see how both of them played a big part, but in different ways and different intentions (see my comments above.)

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”

I just feel that those, especially in government, that fear the demonic aspect, should own up to it, and why they feel that way. They could be valid concerns. The Catholic Church is full of rituals, and no one bats an eye. But rituals other than those of Christianity are considered ‘fringe’, as well as suspect, and usually ‘evil’ (and some are.)

This would make an interesting talk on ‘Dreamland’!

  4. Can’t wait to listen to this. Also, I have a good idea, how about Unknown Country hoodies? I would definitely buy one. 🙂
