When my dead cat Coe took me to the World of the Dead during my first stroke in 2004, he showed me that it would one day be important for me to put my burdens down, and one of he ways to do this is to forgive everyone who has hurt me during my lifetime. Once again, birds are mysteriously dropping out of the sky dead, and, as always, the media treats it as if this continuing mystery is happening for the first time. This time, the mystery is unfolding in Winnepeg, Manitoba in Canada. Roughly 40 dread grackles were collected last Wednesday and given to the province’s chief veterinarian. 20 more were found on the roof of a building, most dead and others in death throes. An initial examination of the birds’ stomach contents did not reveal anything abnormal, and further toxicology tests are being undertaken at this time.

There is nothing about this video that suggests that it is a hoax. This unknown object was recorded in Bulgaria a few nights ago. The one thing that stops your Out There editor from declaring this gold-standard genuine is that the YouTube poster regularly posts UFO video. While certain people are known to attract the attention of UFOs, it is unusual for a single individual to have so many sightings. Once or twice in a lifetime yes, but not every few weeks. Still, the video does appear genuine.

Two US email services offering private encrypted email have closed down and destroyed their servers rather than reveal their customers’ data to the National Security Agency. Texas based Lavabit and Maryland company Silent Circle have both closed down their encrypted email services. Lavabit was used by Edward Snowden, and it’s owner Ladar Levinson has suggested that he received a secret demand from the NSA to hand over his customers’ data. Silent Circle has said that it has received no demand, but it closed down in order to protect its clients’ privacy. Both companies provided secure email to governments, famous figures and others in need of secure email.
