The FDA has warned cosmetics companies that their products contain a lot of potentially dangerous, untested ingredients. They’re especially worried that when we mix several of these ingredients together, such as put on lotion before putting on makeup, we may be mixing these chemicals together into a dangerous combination. Well, at least soap is safe (but not if it causes superbugs!)

In some ways, China seems ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to the environment. But that’s deceptive. China’s incredible rate of business growth is affecting the environment at an alarming rate. A report from Greenpeace says that China is the world leader in deforestation. Forests are needed, not only because they help produce the oxygen we breathe, but because they “inhale” the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, so they reduce global warming. Many countries, such as Italy, have fulfilled the international Kyoto Treaty simply by agreeing to plant trees.

Now it’s been discovered that this is true?they do it by stamping their gigantic feet on the ground, setting off vibrations. There’s long been another legend that elephants return to the sites where their ancestors were killed, almost as if they were paying homage to them. There’s new evidence that this is also true.

A few weeks ago, I wrote a journal entitled the Smashed Pillars of Conservatism. This got me branded as a liberal, as if that was some sort of dirty word. Now I’m going to lash out against the left, so it’ll be time to be called a fascist, I suppose.

The truth is that neither the left nor the right work. In the past, they’ve both had their moments, but they are now exposed for their weak ideological cores.
