According to leading UFO investigator Nick Pope, this is a strong UFO photo. While it would not be difficult to photoshop, the witness appears to be sincere. Unless proven otherwise, this is a probable unknown, and another reminder of just how many photographs and videos of genuine unknowns there are these days. Sussex resident John Raymond snapped this shot of a strange object when he was taking a picture of the full moon. For Dr. Who fans, it bears a curious resemblance to the Tardis, Dr. Who's time machine.
This video taken over Lough in Northern Ireland displays a well documented but infrequently recorded characteristic, which is that the UFO will react to the observer, as if it is well aware that it is being watched.

On June 4th, Air China flight CA4307 had a mid-air collision with a foreign object that left a significant dent in the plane's nose. After the pilots reported performance problems, the plane returned to Guangzhou, where the flight had originated. The damage shown indicates a glancing blow with a lightweight object, and Chinese authorities identified it as a probable bird strike. However, there is no known bird that can fly at 26,000 feet. The highest flying species is the Bar-headed goose, which can cross the Himalayas at an average altitude of 18,000 feet. They have been observed as high as 21,000 feet when over the Himalayas, but not over China. They fly at much lower altitudes over the lowlands, and Guangzhou is in the plain of central China north of Hong Kong and over a thousand miles from Tibet. The region is not on the typical migration pattern of the Bar-headed goose.The pilots of three planes in the process of landing at Gatwick Airport in the UK on 30 December 2012, reported seeing two discs hovering above the airport. The first was the pilot of a Boeing 777, who reported spotting "two flat silver discs" at 0853 GMT.
The crews of a Boeing 767 and an Airbus 319 observed the same objects. The crew of the 777 described them as appearing manmade and looking like toys.
The local Scientology headquarters was just below the objects.

This video of a UFO supposedly racing past the Popocatepetl Volcano near Mexico City has been viralizing around the internet lately. It purports to show a UFO racing toward the ominously smoking Popo crater, then flying into it. What it actually shows is a slightly sped up image of an observation plane circling the crater, then moving downward behind it. Such flights around Popo are common.

This object remained stationary in the sky for some time according to the witness who photographed it. For this reason, it probably isn't a fragment of a high-altitude contrail. The story sourced here comments that it would appear to be similar to the objects described by Kenneth Arnold seen near Mt. Rainier in 1947

We've hesitated to post about the recent 'Mars Rodent' photo from the Curiosity Rover, largely because a place with such a thin atmosphere, no food sources and extremely cold temperatures is just darned unlikely to have mice. However, the image has proved to be a very odd one. First, it's large, at least three feet long, so 'rodent' might not be quite the right word to describe it. 'Large lizard' or 'small dinosaur' might be more appropriate. Still, no animal developed to that level of complexity is going to be running around in an environment like Mars. Also, though, the likelihood of a form this complex appearing at random in a rock field without the slightest sign of any similar erosion simply isn't that great. So the 'Mars rodent,' like the 'Mars figure' of a few years ago, must remain a mystery.Alien practical jokers...or maybe a little funnin' compliments of the Rover Team? If so, not a bad prank, that's for sure...

Your Out There editor was stunned to find this interview with Fr. William Gill, who, along with 37 other people, witnessed a UFO for hours in Papua-New Guinea in 1959. This is one of the great all-time classic UFO stories, highly credible, witnessed by many people. This interview is a fascinating and important rarity.

Historian Ellen Henry photographed a UFO over a well known local paranormal site, the Santee Edgemoore Barn, which is well known locally for ghost encounters. The object appears to be metallic, and does not show any indications of being a plane, a bird or balloon. It was not noticed at first, as Ms. Terry was taking a picture of the barn. She did not notice the object until after she had taken the shot. Immediately after doing so, her camera stopped working, which, as UFO researchers know, is, along with sudden battery depletion, a common effect. This is classed as an unknown, yet to be identified.

This just in from an Unknowncountry reader: Today a Delta 4 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. I’ve seen hundreds of launches. Initially what I thought was a stage separation turned out to be something a little more bizarre. I’ve attached a picture of the rocket approximately 2 minutes after liftoff. I noticed these 3 distinct orbs. When a launch occurs, especially at night, more is visible. Debris is seen trailing away from the exhaust path. By the time I realized what I was seeing was not normal, the orbs did not move or fade away. I grabbed the closest camera I had (my phone) and snapped a single image. It shows the three orbs behind the rockets engine glare. After seeing that I had captured the orbs, all three shot off to the south and beyond the horizon in seconds. Very strange. I will be happy to post this narrative, but I will not identify myself.
The bright light in the photo is the rocket engine.
Another Unknowncountry reader adds this report: "We saw them too! We are in St. Petersburg and were watching the launch. While we could see the rocket without binoculars, we did also use the binoculars and the orbs were absolutely clear. We thought it was a giant UFO, 1 to 3 miles across because the four "orbs", in a diamond pattern, stayed in constant relation to each other for approximately one minute before disappearing. Then, we saw two orbs following what appeared to be closer to the rocket when it was way down-range. It was amazing."

This video was made on May 15 by a sharp-eyed skywatcher in Melbourne. The object is moving too fast to be a bird, a radio-controlled model plane or a balloon. Brad Morris says of his video, "This shows what really happens when you're in the air around a high activity zone..i also captured many saucers in the same cloud system yet to upload most of them..."

This is most likely an unknown, and a reminder of how much of this must be going on worldwide, given how difficult it is to see and how most people have been conditioned to believe that these objects don't exist. However, given their behavior, which hardly seems related at all to what 'alien scientists' might do observing us, the question must be asked: what are they doing? Why was this object even there? Certainly, no obvious purpose presents itself.

A Pennsylvania couple reported to MUFON that they observed a diamond shaped UFO for about an hour at about 12:30 AM on May 20. "I got a pair of binoculars to get a better look," the reporting witness told MUFON . "I could see a dark outline of the object and it appeared to be a diamond shape with multiple colored lights in a cross-like pattern."
Long-duration UFO events are quite rare, and for two of them to be reported in a matter of days is unusual. Another event took place in Fresno on May 15. Will there be more? We'll be watching!

This object hovered over Fresno California for hours today, remaining motionless despite 10-15 MPH winds in the area. It is not a balloon, parachute, parasail, or ultralight because it was unaffected by these winds. It is probably not a kite because of its altitude. Local TV station KPMH asked the Federal Aviation Administration, the Fresno Air Terminal and the Army National Guard Wednesday for information, but they refused to provide an explanation for the object, exactly as they did a few days ago when a plane was looping over Quincy, Mass. 
At first, this video from Argentina appeared to be a meteor breaking up. However, the final clip suggests that it is some form of unknown formation, as it flies low over a nearby hillside.

in southern Europe on Thursday, May 9. The sighting took place at approximately 9:00 pm and was seen by several editors of Vijesti news magazine. The magazine’s photojournalist, Zoran Djuric, captured photos with his camera. This is a typical example of a high-flying fastwalker moving across the sky. Sometimes YouTube hoaxers will video a satellite, then alter the speed of the video. It does not appear to have happened here. The creator of this video provided an excellent description of this videotaping session:
Using a Pulsar Recon 550 digital monocular and a Yukon MPR, what was initially thought to be satellite was tracked and film. You will see in the footage that the first object is quite faint but you can see it moving in a straight line through the shot. Then a second object moving much quicker enters the shot but as it moves parallel to the first object and too the right of it, it suddenly moves away from it. It clearly increases its distance from the first object.
Both objects were moving towards North West. A tripod was not used in this instance, because I am not a specialist and boast about having the best tripods. The one I use is good enough for what I do and is light weight and quick to set up but does not tilt straight up.
(Please note that the time on the footage is one hour behind due to British summer time effect.)
Now these are UFOs because they cannot be identified easily. Satellites move it a set orbit at high speed in space, but cannot just simply 'move away' from another object so quickly. NORAD monitors space traffic and satellite operators are notified in advance of possible collisions so they can adjust the orbit to move out of the way.
But in this footage the object on the right clearly moves away from the first and increases its distance. Is it high altitude aircraft operating in space? Could they be drones? Could they be satellites?
Or are they extraterrestrial?

This UFO, taped in Israel on April 28 bears a resemblance to one taped in Ireland last December. this could be because the light sources are similar in intensity, but a close look at the unzoomed imagery suggests a subtle similarity in shape.
Two witnesses have separately filed reports with MUFON that suggest that they saw the same or very similar triangle UFOs 1,200 miles apart on April 27, 2013. The reports were two hours apart, the first in Tennessee and the second in Colorado. The first was described as light gray with curved angles, and the second as having 'rounded' angles and being 'white.' Both the color and the rounded angles are unusual, and do suggest that this may have been the same object.
The Tennessee witness stopped his car directly under the object and got a good view of a circle of light on its undersurface. The second, in Colorado, observed it transit the entire sky from east to west in a couple of seconds, moving at that point at very high speed.

One of our video experts says of this video, "I have no opinion about this, but it doesn't feel obviously faked." The video shows an object that is maneuvering near a helicopter over an unidentified Irish village. The helicopter and the object are far away, but a close listen to the video does reveal the sound of the helicopter rotors. In addition, the object undertakes maneuvers that can't be carried out by planes, balloons, helicopters or any known form of aircraft.
What could it be? The object could be a simple animation. It's too far away and too low res to be certain. It could be an insect much closer to the camera, but this seems far-fetched. Our verdict: possible unknown.

We have received this report from a UC reader in the Punjab. It appears to be an orb sighting, but as the witness points out, it could be something else. Your thoughts and reports are welcome in the comments section below. We have a readership in India and across Asia, so if anyone else in those areas in particular has seen anything like this recently, let us know. The motion described doesn't rule out a sky lantern moving on a steady breeze, but it is also possible that this was an unknown.

Some of our family members were sleeping but my younger daughter and mother suddenly woke up ( may be for drinking water), and my daughter saw a red colored glowing ball of light, and she woke me up. I observed that it was not a holicoper , not a airplane as there was no sound, but it was continuousely running in a horizontal motion at a continuous speed. We observed this for 7-10 minutes.

A photographer in Perth, Australia has joined the growing number of people who have discovered that taking an interest in UFOs results in a response. After getting a new camera and watching the skies, he has taken what appear to be some good daylight UFO photos. Perhaps, rather than some sort of official disclosure, a worldwide increase in interest is going to work in both directions, until, in the end, we take these unknown objects for granted. Unknowncountry received this well described witness report of what seems clearly to have been an unknown object over Seattle at 5:30 PM on April 26.
"Details of Encounter: I was on my deck and witnessed a ball of light rising into the air over the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. It was a sunny afternoon. At first I thought it was a Mylar balloon, but then it stopped and descended rapidly in a very straight path. It stopped and rose again in a straight line, then descended a short distance and stopped. At that point it moved to the west and stopped, moved to the east and stopped, then moved back to the area where it had been moving vertically and stopped. Each time it stopped it stayed completely motionless for a few seconds. When it moved laterally its motion was slightly wobbly. This all happened in about a minute. It would be difficult to say what its altitude was, but I don't think it rose more than 1500-2000 feet. As I watched, it came south toward me and stopped. It stood completely still in the sky for about two minutes. I decided to get my phone to take a video and went into the house for less than ten seconds. When I got back outside it was gone. I wish I had seen how it disappeared. It was definitely not a plane, helicopter, balloon, or lantern."

The story sourced here from Australia describes a witness who saw her first UFO in 1997, and has since seen many. The belief among close encounter witnesses has been, 'if you notice UFOs, they will notice you,' but it could also be that people are being sensitized to noticing these generally fast moving and small objects in the sky. Daylight UFOs are usually easily distinguishable from planes, but it can be surprisingly easy to mistake and insect or a bird for a UFO, especially if the creature is closer than it appears. On the other hand, sightings of small, high-flying disks, such as are reported in this case, cannot be explained as known objects.

This UFO video from Arizona appears to be a triangle UFO, with which Out There readers are very familiar. Of course, it could be a delta winged aircraft of some sort. It's hard to see until the third version of the clip, running at 0.65 of normal speed. Probable unknown.

A skywatcher in New South Wales seems to be getting watched back by the objects he is seeing. Alf Preston of New South Wales reports that he has been seeing UFOs, most recently while observing Venus through his telescope. For once, they can't be dismissed as Venus because they were seen beside it at the same time.
This is a good reminder that people who actively seek UFO sightings are often rewarded these days. But it takes not only persistence, but luck. Mr. Preston clearly has both. Unfortunately, what he doesn't have are pictures. Hopefully, he'll get a camera and get out there with it!

Our first expert has said the following:
The tracking miss at 1:32 bothers me. This looks poorly tracked where as the rest is very acceptable.
Not sure but I think it is a fake.
Our second expert says this:
What looks like a tracking error at 1:32 actually appears to be a shift in the shooter's perspective. He steps to the right, which momentarily changes the relationship between the camera, the tree, the bushes, the houses, and the lights in the sky. This move is preceded by a very natural-looking jiggle of the camera.
So on the level of tracking, and of the realistic appearance of the overexposed (blooming) orbs as they are obscured by various foreground objects (which would be pretty damn laborious and time-consuming to fake, though certainly doable), I'll give this video high marks.
To be clear, this vid COULD be real.
It COULD also have been very carefully made and then deliberately degraded to hide the seams. Some of my doubts are fueled by the following:
- A YouTube description utterly devoid of useful information.
- No audio. This would make some sense, because if a hoaxer hasn't planned out all the "ooh" and "ahh" moments in advance, said hoaxer would then have to produce a credible soundtrack, which may or may not be within the scope of his technical repertoire. .. and which, as we've seen before, is extremely difficult to fake. Being a whizbang with the visuals is one thing, but creating a technically and psychologically convincing soundtrack is quite another.
- These orbs appeared in just the right spot (between the houses) to be seen by the shooter, and continue to appear in the right spot each time. They're perfectly framed for the camera, and they conveniently change direction to remain between the houses as viewed from the shooter's perspective.
- Said shooter seems to have had zero curiosity about these thingies once they went behind the bushes. One would think that, at least following the final orb he'd have attempted to zip around in front of those neighboring houses to see if he could catch a further glimpse of these things.
- And finally, Cork is a big city, yet so far no independent reports have surfaced.
I went to the YouTube page of the guy who was named as the source (Natkis Ireland) and saw the unstabilized version of the video. No detailed info there, except that he says he has a better camera but claims he wasn't able to deploy it quickly enough so he used his cellphone. He sounds like a sober chap, and his YouTube home page isn't full of other UFO videos, though he does subscribe to an ET page that seems a little iffy to me. (http://www.youtube.com/user/1967sander).
I can find no evidence that he personally possesses the skills to have faked this video. On the other hand, a skilled confederate might have been involved.

This event, if real, would surely have drawn not only media coverage, but also other videos from different locations (how much footage was there of the meteorite?). It's a big city, it's not dark, they keep on coming ( a bit like a big lantern release would) and as Dan says, very conveniently emerging from the gap between the houses.

It's a big city, it's not dark, they keep on coming ( a bit like a big lantern release would) and as Dan says, very conveniently emerging from the gap between the houses.

Two of our experts don't rule out the possibility that these lights are unknowns. The third feels sure the video is a hoax. I think that this could have been made by releasing sky lanterns, then opening the shutter of the camera to make them appear extremely bright. However, there is no way to make a final determination with this video. Possible unknown.
