Mexico City UFO Wave

July 12, 2000

As of 1:00PM 07/12/00, people were taking to the streets in Mexico City to observe what appears to be an extensive UFO wave unfolding this afternoon. Jaimie Maussan, prominent Mexican journalist and UFO authority, reports that the media is being flooded with calls from all over the city and people are taking to the streets to watch the spectacle. Maussan is in the process of preparing a story on this, and determining for certain that the objects are true unknowns. Reports from the Mexico City Airport Tower indicate that the objects are being picked up on radar right now. There has also been a wave of landings in schoolyards in Mexico in recent months, and direct contact between children and UFO occupants. Maussan will have a report on Dreamland on Sunday, July 16.

The War With the Squirrels

July 10, 2000

After a year of living in what was supposed to be a temporary apartment, we are finally packing up our boxes and getting ready to move into a new house. When my brother-in-law offered to build it for us, he said it would be ready in six months. I should have known better than to believe him.

The place where we’ve been living is comfortable enough, but since we didn’t plan to stay long, I’ve never done any gardening. The back yard consists of a dilapidated wooden platform that once held a hot tub and a couple of pretty nice trees.

I noticed a cardinal flitting around our neighbor’s yard and became determined to attract him to ours so we could do some bird watching. We hung up a birdfeeder filled with luscious sunflower seeds and waited.

Squirrel Problems

Whitley –

Let Anne know how much I enjoyed her latest diary entry. I had to forward it to a friend who is having a similar problem in her neighborhood, minus the kamikazes. The little beasts started out friendly enough, just sitting on her porch staring a wreath she had on her front door. After being convinced that she wasn’t just going to hand the thing over, they have decided that gnawing through the screen door is a good war tactic. They’ve gone through 2 screens, have clawed her front door, got trapped between the screen door and the front door, have gotten into her house…

Someone ought to clue the Pentagon in on these things! 😉

Global Warming Intensifies–Heat Wave Sears SE Europe

July 6, 2000

Southeastern europe was struck by an unprecedented heat wave this week, with temperatures reaching 107 in Romania and 111 in Greece. The extraordinary heat led Romanian authorities to tell government workers to stay at home, as hundreds of fires broke out across the country. Power outages were reported throughout Greece. The heat wave, caused by an invasion of hot air from the Sahara desert south of the Mediterranean, extended from Italy where temperatures were over 100 in Rome, to Turkey, where temperatures of 104 were being reported. Many areas were reporting record temperatures. Tuesday was the hottest day in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 114 years, with the temperature reaching 104 degrees.

Mirror Worlds Could Be All Around Us

New Scientist – Scientists suspect that an entire mirror universe could be present, including mirror galaxies, mirror stars and planets, even mirror life, and this notion is about to be tested. The existence of mirror worlds is suspected because of a flaw in natural symmetry. When an atom decays to create a neutrino, the neutrino always spins left-handedly. In the 1950s, Chen Ning Yang and Tsugn Dao Lee, both Nobel prizewinning physicists, speculated that perfect left-right symmetry would exist if there was a mirror or shadow world.

The Question of Fatima

June 28, 2000

I decided to write about the newly revealed Third Secret of Fatima, because I just finished editing Michael Hesemann’s new book “The Fatima Secret” for our Hidden Agendas series. It will be the third book in the series and is due out in October.

Many miracles seem like wishful thinking, when you take a good look at them. But the Miracles at Fatima do seem extraordinary, especially when you consider that the Mother of God was seen flying about in what we would today describe as a UFO!

Vatican Publishes Third Secret of Fatima – Or Does It?

June 26, 2000

The Vatican today published what is purported to be the Third Secret of Fatima. The “secret” included vague references to some sort of apocalyptic vision, but the Vatican said that the events appeared to have already happened. Why the Church took so long to reveal this story is not clear. In 1987, Fr. Malachi Martin told this author that the Third Secret was that the oceans of the world would rise and inundate the coastlines. Martin had been privy to the secret when it was opened by Pope John XXIII. I published this interpretation of the secret in my book Transformation in 1988.

Second Quake in 4 Days Hits Iceland

June 21, 2000

Iceland has experienced two significant earthquakes in the past four days. The second quake, which occurred shortly after midnight on Wednesday, was felt throughout the island and measured 6.6 on the Richter scale. Iceland, which is volcanically active, experiences many small quakes. However, before last Saturday. it had not experienced a quake as intense as 6.6 since 1910. There is no known precedent for two such quakes a few days apart. The second quake originated at a depth of 6.6 miles, characterized by scientists as unusually shallow.

Earthquake Activity Continues to Pick up Worldwide

June 20, 2000

In the past few days, earthquakes have been feld in Taiwan, the Philippines, Iceland, Spain and New England. An enormous quake struck the Indian Ocean. This quake, 120 nautical miles sse of Bantam in the Cocos Islands, reached 7.5 on the Richter scale. An extremely rare earthquake also rattled dishes in Western Massachusetts. Measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale, the quake startled residents in this normally quiet area. Mild though it was, it was one of the strongest ever recorded west of the Connecticut River in New Enagland. Although the region has many ancient fault lines, most of them over 200 million years old, the quake could not be attributed to movement along a specific fault, and seismologists were unable to explain it. Updated Hurricane Forecast: Continued Above Average Activity

June 10, 2000

The highly regarded forecast team led by Dr. William Gray at Colorado State University’s Department of Atmospheric Sciences issued an updated forecast for the 2000 hurricane season on June 7. Previous forecasts had called for moderating hurricane activity in the Atlantic as a result of an anticipated lessening of La Nina conditions in the Pacific. However, the state of the Pacific has not changed as much as anticipated, and, according to the forecasters, “the Atlantic hurricane season in 2000 is expected to be slightly less active than the four recent very busy years” but “should notably be more active than the mean for the recent period of 1970 through 1994.” Eight hurricanes are expected this year, with half of them expected to be intense. Three Major Volcanoes Active

Mt. Etna in Italy, Mt. Popopocatapetl in Mexico, and Mt. Cameroon in the Cameroons have all experienced activity in recent days (June 7, 2000). Mt. Popocatapetl ejected ash to 18,000 feet on May 23, 2000, then again on June 6, 2000. Popo has been active for some years, and there is concern that a major eruption could occur, although vulcanologists do not feel that the current activity indicates that this is imminent.

There was a substantial explosion from Mt. Etna on June one, with an ash column that reached 6,000 feet. Etna experiences frequent small eruptions, and the last major eruption was in 1992. The eruption observed on June 1 was much larger than usual, but not a major eruption.

The Trip to New York

May 31, 2000

Whitley and I recently flew up to our old home town of New York City to attend our son’s college graduation ceremonies.

Wherever we travel, we can usually find someone in the UFO community to hook up with. In New York, a friend of ours who runs one of the original Communion groups has a friend who’s the manager at a nice midtown hotel, so we can usually get a pretty nice room there. This time we got a bedroom with a sitting room attached, which meant we got to see a lot more of our son. Since he’s a Knicks fan and doesn’t have cable T.V., he came to our hotel to watch the game almost every night. We got some sodas and take-out Chinese food and watched along with him.
