The US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has banned a book about the war in Afghanistan AFTER Army Intelligence approved it, stating that national security could be breached if the book is published in its current form, probably because the author reveals some embarasssing details about 911.

Fox News quotes the author of the unpublished book “Operation Dark Heart,” Col. Tony Shaffer, as saying, “Apparently, Defense Intelligence Agency took exception to the way the Army cleared the book.” The DIA wants Shaffer to remove key parts of the book that claim that the military successfully identified hijacker Mohammed Atta as a terrorist threat to the US BEFORE the 911 attacks.
