Recently, the site was hacked in such a way as to degrade the advertising section, the store and some other areas. No credit card data was compromised as it is not kept on this website. When the signup form is filled out, that part of it goes directly to our PCI compliant payment gateway, Authorize.net. We fixed the advertising area and the store. An attempt was made to drop a script on the site that made it impossible for administrators to log in. We fixed that. The subscriber area was broken in such a way that you are not informed when your account expires and you continue to be able to log in. The result is that many of you can log in even though you are innocently unaware that you are no longer paying for your accounts. We are attempting to fix this. Most recently, another script was applied that caused the Dreamland shows to stop functioning until the audio files were replaced, then after a few minutes to stop again. We are attempting to get that sort of problem fixed.
Now, why has all of this suddenly happened? The site has very high security and has gone for years without any problems.
The hacks originated in Pakistan and at first I thought it was done by somebody who was working on the site. But the way it was degraded is typical of how intelligence agencies degrade internet operations that they don’t like. But why would Pakistani intelligence care about us? The answer is that they don’t. Somebody over there was doing somebody else a favor.
The UFO/close encounter phenomenon is a very complicated and fraught business. It is quite real and causes a lot of disturbance in various official circles. The US Air Force takes a dim view of the whole phenomenon, denying its existence because they cannot control it. There are elements in congress who fear that they are demons, and certainly they are, to say the least, a difficult and strange phenomenon.
Over the 30+ years of my association with them, I have literally seen it all. I don’t think that anything more accurate has ever been said than the message that appeared in the 2002 Crabwood Crop Formation. (Despite disguised official attempts to brand it a hoax, it is no hoax. Don’t be deceived.)
This message is "beware the bearers of false gifts & their broken promises. Much pain but still time. Believe. There is good out there.We oppose deception."
There is indeed good out there. But not in here, unfortunately. The situation is very complex, though, and not divided as most people believe, including, as far as I can tell, the elements of the military and the intelligence community involved in this, into good guys vs. bad guys.
Another statement, this one reported by Col. Philip Corso, is of almost equal importance. When, during a harrowing moment, he asked what was on offer for us, the reply was, "a new world if you can take it." This means both if we can bear it and if we can literally wrest it from the hands of those who are keeping it from us–who are exactly the same as those who are trying to give it to us!
That’s right, our demons and our angels are the same guys. This means, of course, that they are reflective and will over time respond to us, but not without a great deal of effort on our part.
If we take them to be either angels or demons, that’s a mistake and we lose. If we take them to be a multi-layered, complex and nuanced presence and seek from them what would genuinely be of use to us, that’s the right way to go about it and we will make progress.
Here’s what I suspect is the truth: intelligent species are rare. Most of them die off very quickly. Frankly, this universe favors the strong–but that does NOT mean the well armed. Weapons are weakness. Strength is not guns, it’s smarts.
What makes intelligent species so valuable is that they produce extremely rich souls, and in fact these souls–in which most of us don’t really believe or feel uneasy about–are all that matters here. We are here to build strong, coherent souls which means living lives of love, compassion and humility. The rest is, as the Preacher puts it so succinctly in Ecclesiastes, "vanity," and that includes all of the posturing and sniping that is going on behind the scenes about the visitors.
In nature, there is a hidden factor that is activated whenever a species reaches too great a population. A dieback is then inevitable. When you overpopulate a rat maze, they soon start killing each other. They begin to live in their own offal. Rat society breaks down. Mayhem is loosed. They die.
During the 17th century, the resistance factor began to be triggered. By the 20th century, we had developed the means to kill each other en-masse and started fighting wars that had no meaning. In fact, they arose out of a deep instinct at preservation, and they are also what brought our visitors to the surface. It’s no accident, I wouldn’t think, that they appeared at the same time that we began using atomic weapons on one another.
They want us to survive or I don’ think they’d even be here. But we have to be strong enough to navigate the ages. So we are being tested and that is not pretty. I hope that’s all it is, but I remain uncertain. There could be deeper problems, but, as is always true when the unknown is involved, also great opportunities.
They have nothing to give away but everything to offer–whether they want us to have it or not. Their mere presence is instructive, and the more of our scientists, academics and technologists who know that, the more we can accomplish just be observing their actions and their machines. If people like Stephen Hawking and Roger Penrose knew that they were real, or the minds of Silicon Valley, I think we would learn a lot, and fast.
I am in an unusual for having the relationship with them that I do. No matter how hard it has gotten–and I cannot begin to express what my wife and I have actually suffered over the years–we stood fast side by side, as, in fact, we still are. We suffered at the hands of the visitors, the government, the media, the UFO community, the religious community, the scientific community and individuals, all at the same time. We stood side by side and relied on the message of the gospels to see us through. Love, not fear, compassion, not hate. Regard for the needs of others even when they are oppressing you.
So, for the first time in a long time, Anne and I have an old enemy back. This was true in the late nineties, also, when somebody in the air force apparently caused Parade magazine to publish a false story that I had discovered that I had temporal lobe epilepsy and made a contribution to the epilepsy foundation. (I discuss this in some detail in Solving the Communion Enigma.)
I don’t know who’s after us now, but I am very sure it’s not the Pakistanis.
My position in regard to the visitors doesn’t justify me being attacked. I’m hardly their factotum and I am no pollyanna about this experience. I see it objectively and my counsel is always the same: let’s get what we can out of this, but let’s be careful.
We must learn to work as a team, and not divide our forces and therefore our strength. To take this new world, we have to be strong, but to do that we must come to understand what strength really means.
I trust that the attacks on this site, and on me personally and those I love, will now cease at every meaningful level.

As near as I can tell, for the past 16 years we, as a species, have been experiencing an acceleration of the expansion of consciousness, and speaking from experience, it’s typically a messy affair: the individuals I’ve witnessed going through this process initially resist, sometimes quite nastily, to the point where there were the occasional few that never emerged from the transition. Now, the same symptoms seem to be manifesting en masse, with another jump in the pace of progress having happened shortly after December 2012, and perhaps even another having occurred late last year, coinciding with the election.
That resistance to an increase in self-awareness appears to be manifesting in the collective insanity we’re witnessing (and all too often experiencing) — homicidal psychopaths forming a death cult in the Iraq and Syria; a not-insignificant portion of what should be an otherwise well-educated population trying to force the enactment of policy based on insane fables rather than fact; and otherwise apparently normal individuals suddenly attempting to massacre as many of their fellow human beings as possible, with only the flimsiest of justifications backing their actions.
This also plays into what Whitley’s talking about: individuals that deeply fear this transition — specifically the trauma of facing their true selves — one that that drives a deep, existential fear into them. This, combined with an unhealthy dose of cognitive dissonance, and in some cases, a deep fear of loss of control or power, results in the assumption by certain individuals that they are righteous in perpetrating vicious attacks on what they perceive as threats, such as Unknown Country, and its community of individuals that have chosen to seek out how to actively embrace their own progression through this evolutionary process.
This isn’t to say that the psychological elements that Whitley is talking about aren’t present: what I’m describing is simply what I perceive to be the underlying motive for the use of the ideology and perceived fears that are being used to justify these attacks. Those with Evangelical leanings might resort to accusing us of consorting with demons; those whom consider themselves “rationalists” might see us as enemies of science, and thus fair game for attack.
In the end, what’s going on appears to be the symptom of an otherwise positive process. The increasing insanity and the horrors that that brings are symptoms of our dark side resisting its illumination by our inherent light.
We will find our path.
