New listener “Dalen Wade” originally contacted host Jeremy Vaeni with questions about the possible nature of fear in high strangeness experiences. When Jeremy asked him to be a guest on the show, he wasn’t certain that he had enough experiences to warrant it. Thankfully, he accepted the offer anyway, because, as it turns out, his initial waking encounter and latest dream provide huge clues as to the nature and use of fear in Visitor encounters!

the one thing that I havent heard anyone say is Pennywise from Stephen Kings “It.”

      Hey Jeremy,
      Dalen Wade sounds very clear-minded.
Like I typed, Ive heard this type of event and no one has actually mentioned Stephen King’s “It.” remember Pennywise who was a projection from the insectlike monster.
      SPOOOOOOO-KEEEEEE

In addition, the dream with the “alien” holding up an “alien” mask tells me that on some level, Dalen Wade knows that what he is seeing is only what is meant to be seen and there is an abundance of “stuff” behind it.
The shoulder stab would be a “hey im here,” kinda thing. The twinkie fingers…..
well someone else can address that.
        Pennywise. That keeps coming around.
Ive posted several things like this because i got the “message” again:
        Unauthorized comment….closed post.
Normal? i think not. *raises eyebrow

  2. Holding up the alien mask and
Holding up the alien mask and taking off the alien mask to reveal another mask are also scenes from the Communion movie.

  3. The dream of biting the hand
The dream of biting the hand and shaking it reminds me when a dog bites and shakes something to kill it! I think it’s a symbol that he has looked fear in the face and killed it. Bravo!!

  4. Talking about fear, I have
Talking about fear, I have just finished Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune’ (again)…and in that book, some of the characters have been trained to repeat ‘The Litany Against Fear’ to themselves, to help focus their minds in moments of peril…

    “I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

There is definitely something to be said for resisting the urge to run from fear…and in the moment trying to view it as an observer, watching the process of how it affects the body and the mind…unfortunately that is much, much easier said than done.

Regarding experiences of the unknown, I wonder what purpose fear might serve…because it seems to me that it can be removed by ‘the unknown’, if needs be. So, if fear is a known barrier to clear thought and potential communication, then why not just remove it beforehand? Unless the act of overcoming fear is one of the reasons for the experience in the firstplace…like Morpheus teaching Neo to ignore the chasm and just…jump……okey-dokey.

In light of what was discussed in this week’s Experience, it’s interesting that I should mention Morpheus, as after I wrote the above, I looked it up and apparently he was a Greek god of dreams…maybe dreams are just as valid a teaching tool as waking reality?…And Delen, I suspect dreams may be higher up that totem pole than you might think…after all, with experiences like these, it is less about how it translates and more about how it affects you.

    1. Sherbet, funny you should
Sherbet, funny you should mention ‘Dune’…

I think a case could be made for the use of ‘Voice’ as well, and I don’t mean the reality TV series. In the ‘Dune’ series, the Bene Gesserit were trained to use ‘Voice’ as a way to manipulate people, get at the truth, and also to get people to do things they were resistant to doing. ‘Voice’ was all about altering tones, and was fairly subtle. The concept of ‘Voice’ in ‘Dune’ is not far-fetched, and I think we have all known humans who are quite adept at it. If you’re a mom, you’ve probably used it often with your kids, and without increasing the volume of your voice. 🙂

All kidding aside, using something akin to ‘Voice’ telepathically comes to mind…

Oh yeah, Mums are masters at using the ‘Voice’…and that variant of the voiceless-voice, otherwise known as ‘The Look’!

Talking about telepathic voices, the most recent article on Earthfiles contains an instance of that being used to quell fear.

        1. …AND this in today’s news:
…AND this in today’s news: Microwaves suspected in ‘sonic attacks’ on US diplomats in Cuba and China, scientists say:

          https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/02/health/cuba-china-state-department-microwaves-sonic-attacks/index.html

Even this is all speculation, with no proof of what the source of the attacks actually was…What if there was no ‘device’? What if the ‘weapon’ is a human being able to target others directly through some kind of psi ops mind control? Crazy idea, I know. And, since the beginning, I have felt that Cuba and China are being used by a third party actually doing the dirty work.
