The FBI warned eight of California?s leading movie studios that they could be next on the terrorist hit list. Armed guards were patrolled the streets of the studios and crash barriers were in place across roads leading to film lots. Disney, DreamWorks, Fox, MGM, Paramount, Sony, Universal and Warner Brothers were closed to all but essential staff. Security was also stepped up at Disneyland and the California Adventure theme parks. ?In this environment, we are taking the warning very seriously and taking appropriate measures to enhance our security,? The FBI is asking all U.S. agricultural-use airplane operators to be on high alert for any suspicious behavior as they fly their crop dusters, for fear that terrorists will try to use them to spread chemical or biological warfare agents. ?The FBI has contacted us and asked us to sensitize our members to any potential threats,? says National Agricultural Aviation Association Executive Director James Callan.

According to the Times of London, the CIA has asked financial regulators in the UK to investigate the suspicious short-selling of millions of shares of stocks in companies likely to be hurt by the Attack on America in the weeks prior to the attack.

There was unusual short-selling activity in airlines, arms manufacturers, retailers, insurance companies and others likely to suffer from the attack. This short-selling began approximately three weeks before the attack itself, and reached a crescendo on Friday, September 8.
