The Pope has allegedly been identified as a target by the terrorist group The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).

This intention apparently follows the Pope’s condemnation of the terror organization’s recent actions, when they beheaded a number of Christian victims. The Pope is a known pacifist and has been outspoken regarding the treatment of Christian by jihadist militants; however, these comments have now singled him out as “the greatest exponent of the Christian religion,” and consequently a “bearer of false truth.”

Though it takes all threats against the Pope very seriously, the Vatican do not believe that the Pope is heading the list of potential ISIS targets.

Information just made available by China Airlines has indicated that Beijing International Airport received a terror threat just a few days before the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 went missing.

The identity of the terrorist is still unknown but he declared an affiliation with the East Turkestan Liberation Organisation.
The threat was made on 4th March by phone, and warned that a terror strike would shortly take place at the airport. The caller initially spoke in French, but then changed to Mandarin when airport staff failed to comprehend what he was saying.

Pakistan’s economy is almost entirely dependent on American taxpayers. The Pakistani military submits claims every month to the US Embassy in Islamabad and receipts are neither provided nor requested. Most of this money goes to fund the Taliban and al-Qaeda. And they need that money: In the May 16 edition of the New Yorker, Lawrence Wright says that "In a country of a hundred and eighty million people, fewer than two million pay taxes and Pakistan’s leaders are doing little to change the situation."

Abdel-Bari Atwan, editor of the Arabic newspaper Al-Quds inLondon, has been told that Osama Bin Laden is still alive. He says bin-Laden was wounded in an attack on his Tora Boramountain base in Afghanistan last December. Atwan is one offew journalists who interviewed bin-Laden before theal-Qaeda attacks on September 11.

Atwan says he started looking for bin-Laden’s currenthideout after seeing the latest al-Qaeda video. He noticedthat bin-Laden, who is left-handed, hardly moved his left arm. “His people say he was wounded in the shoulder by shrapnel.He is in good health now,” Atwan says. ?They also saidbin-Laden would not appear in a video and just speak words.He will make another appearance only after his people attackthe Americans again.”
