Just fifty years ago, on February 20, 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower mysteriously disappeared. At first, the Associated Press even released a story that he had died. A few minutes later, it was changed to a visit to the dentist. But that story wasn’t true. Not even the dentist he allegedly visited would say he’d actually been there, and there is no record of the visit in the Eisenhower Library.
