We talked about this three years ago, and now it’s being discussed again–this time officially. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to rally support in his cabinet for an attack on Iran, and defense minister Ehud Barak and foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman are said to be among those backing a pre-emptive strike to neutralize Iran’s nuclear facilities, since one of the first uses of any bomb they make is likely to be an attack on Israel.

Western intelligence estimates that Iran is still at least 2 or 3 years away from developing a nuclear bomb. Sky News quotes Lieberman as saying that "Iran poses the most dangerous threat to world order." And if Israel did the "dirty work," we might be relieved as well.
