A fierce fight has been going on for years between the parents of autistic kids and the government and pharmaceutical industry about whether or not the mercury used as a preservative in vaccines causes autism. Over the past 20 years, there has been a huge increase in the number of autistic children, which has led to a lawsuit that parents have lost. However, all that may change, now that a new study shows that exposure to low doses of thimerosal, a mercury preservative used in childhood vaccines, can lead to the development of autism in mice.

Researcher Mady Hornig created a GM mouse that is susceptible to autoimmune diseases, which are conditions that cause the body to attack itself. Lupus and some types of arthritis are examples of this. When he exposed the mice to the same kind of mercury in vaccines, they developed the symptoms of autism. Researchers think that other sources of mercury, such as in fish when it’s eaten by pregnant women, may also lead to autism. The use of thimerosal in vaccines has been reduced over the past few years, but it’s still present in some flu vaccines.

There’s something scientific about auras, and Mark Smith can prove it, since he’s “read” them for the CIA!
