Jim Marrs, who is no stranger to having his books censored, interviews Whitley Strieber about the censorship of the Key. Find out exactly what the censor was trying to do by eliminating and changing the parts that he did, and get an inside look at what the sinister forces that run our world DON’T want us to know. The discovery of this sabotage has shone an incredible light on just what it is hoped will remain hidden from us, and now we know exactly what that is, and it is CHILLING what they don’t want us to know. And who are they? Whitley and Jim will be discussing that, too.

To annotate your existing copy of the Key, go to Whitley’s Journal and you will be able to easily find the correct pages and change them.

If you want a NEW copy of the Key with Whitley’s new introduction and afterword that detail the truly extraordinary accuracy of the Master’s predicitons, click here.

  1. Hmm, it may not have been
Hmm, it may not have been censorship as such.
Rather, the intent and design may have been to ensure discovery at a later, more purposeful date than that of the book’s initial release.

  2. @Prinz – Spoke in the true
@Prinz – Spoke in the true form of conspiratorial paranoia. However, there are several factors which negate this proposition. First and foremost, the changes have been posted for free on this website, negating any profit motive. There are three categories of folks, those who have: (1) read the book within the past decade and have dismissed it out of hand instantly, therefore don’t care if it was edited or not; (2) read the book and realize its importance, who ARE interested and can get the changes for free; and, (3) never heard of the book until this release, and will not care to revisit the old version (refer to items 1 and 2 above for their solution). Whitley stands to gain nothing in this, and it would be extremely risky as a marketing ploy. There are much more benign ways to elicit a buzz and chatter in order to promote.

  3. The Key is an important book
The Key is an important book if only for the Brief Discussion of the nature of sin, as Denial of the Right to Thrive. IMHO as a lay student of comparative religion for 30+ years; that elagently stated vision of the concept makes the book a classic.

Good Luck with this release Whitley,
    Blessings, BB.

  4. THEY KEY IS MY MOST IMPORTANT
THEY KEY IS MY MOST IMPORTANT BOOK. I HAVE READ IT AT LEAST 10 TIMES. I CAN RECITE IT BY HEART!!!
THIS IS INCREDIBLE – I FELL OFF MY CHAIR WHEN I FOUND OUT THE BOOK WAS CENSORED!!
This makes total sense – my sister and I would discuss THEY KEY often and the parts that were changed were the parts of the book we disliked the most!!!! Like what did the WORD sound like – A WHINE – even though he said it was a JOKE – IT MAKE ME FEEL BAD – but if I knew he said – ‘I DON’T KNOW’ – That would have made me feel like I resonate with him exactly!!! Every change Jim and Whitley talked about were the parts of the book I didn’t understand – but the REAL answers made me NOW understand the book and what the Master was saying!
Thank you Whitley once again – for discovering this and telling us about it – I am going to BUY THE NEW BOOK even though I own 2 copies of the old book – so I can read it another 10 times!!!!
By the way – THE HYBRID and THE OMEGA POINT that I just bought – were both fabulous READS – GOD BLESS YOU for everything you write – YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU ARE INFLUENCING THOSE OF US WITH THE EARS TO HEAR AND THE EYES TO SEE!!!! Those people are watching listening and learning from the GREAT MASTERS like Whitley Streiber!
    THANKS AGAIN,

  6. I am SO glad you have
I am SO glad you have revealed the changes made to The Key. I have been a subscriber to Unknown Country for at least ten years, and had the old edition of The Key. I absolutely remember the “edited in” changes, and every one of them struck a false note to me. I didn’t understand how you could see this as such tremendous wisdom, when, as you clearly point out, the changed edition had a fear-mongering and diminishing twist. To me, a font of wisdom COULD not do this. However, despite my disappointment, it didn’t diminish my appreciation of you and your work, nor did it stop me from subscribing. Now I’m absolutely thrilled to understand the original message. Thank you.

  7. Many of the passages cited
Many of the passages cited also rang false to me. Made me feel kind of off balance. I’m so relived to have this cleared up and look forward to re-reading it again as a whole.

  8. @leetown
    I don’t think Prinz

    @leetown
I don’t think Prinz mentioned a monetary factor or Whitley Strieber in his post. My take is that he is saying that unknown persons edited it so that the real wording would be found and made available at a time when it could really reach people.

That being said when I first read the censored version those passages seemed off to me as well. They were just not in keeping with the rest of the information in the book.

I am very happy that Whitley made the corrections available and I am looking forward to reading the book again.

  9. Ah, Leetown, I didn’t mean to
Ah, Leetown, I didn’t mean to suggest that Mr Strieber was running some kind of scam. No, rather that the timing of the discovery may have been planned by a higher power, that’s all. We’re all impressed, though unsurprised, by the magnanimous approach of Mr Strieber to current holders of the Key’s first edition. Indeed, some of the changes may need a good while to sink in. Peace.

  10. The Key is a much better book
The Key is a much better book when you listen to it as an audiobook.

I get much more out of it period.
