We change focus this week with a delightful, unusual and informative show that focuses on optimism, joy and high energy.

You will not have heard this information before, so don’t miss it. Yanik Silver is an author, an adventurer and a self-described ‘pretty good doodler,’ and this week on Dreamland we go on a wild and joyous journey with him into the hidden meaning of reality, the joys of being a part of this amazing universe and how to re-remember the internal instruction manual you were born with and live your fullest life!

That said, Whitley and Yanik really get into it, telling hilarious life stories, trading ideas so crazy they just might be right, and exploring Yanik’s amazing handwritten and hand drawn book The Cosmic Journal.

Yanik has been called a Cosmic Catalyst, a Maverick Mischief-maker and a Galactic Goofball.

He’s the creator of the Cosmic Journal, author of Evolved Enterprise and the founder of Maverick1000, a global network of top entrepreneurs of visionary entrepreneurs making a serious difference in the world, without taking themselves too seriously. In fact, it’s not unusual to find him dressed as a lemur, a showgirl or even in matching mermaid tails with Sir Richard Branson.

And when he meets Whitley on Dreamland, he finds that he’s come to the right place. Cosmic Goofballs welcome here!

  1. Haha, Whitley I love the show so far! I just got to the part about your brother and the Art Bell show. I think every family has someone like your brother and in my family it’s me. Rather than your suggestion about getting rid of your brother (by extreme prejudice), he should be elected President!

I used to tell my younger brother, decades ago that Ray Charles the singer was dead. I was absolutely serious in my insistence and he would spend hours trying to prove to me he was alive and well, (which of course he was at the time).

Years later, in a conversation he laughingly told a group of us about the old joke. And I blandly replied, “That’s ridiculous, Ray Charles is alive and well!” My brother never saw THAT coming, (Ray Charles died in 2004) and he lost it.

Ahh, the power of Cognitive Dissonance. hehee!

Oh my goodness, don’t tell my brother he should run for president. He’s as smart as a whip and if he put his mind to it, he’d definitely win! I can easily imagine a head of state bedding down in the Lincoln Bedroom, only to find the bed short-sheeted.

  2. Can’t wait to listen! We need a little more laughter lately! Thanks Whitley.

  3. This is such a delightful and uplifting interview…….THANK YOU!

You’ve got to accentuate the positive
    Eliminate the negative

    Latch on to the affirmative
    Don’t mess with Mister In-Between

You’ve got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum

    Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

  4. nice using the book to drive the conversation. seems like a good source of inspiration, the book. there’s gonna be opportunities coming out of this crisis and some long overdue changes. like schools becoming more online video based. that could really bring down costs and maybe even improve outcomes. not everyone learns at the same pace and wants to sit prisoner like in a class at a desk. lectures can come form the best teachers and be supported by others.
working from home is getting a real boost. it was always possible but never adopted widely because of habit mostly. since ive been doing it im alot happier in my own environment than i was at work. connecting with people over apps like teams etc now has more meaning which in the office we took for granted each others presents. we dont have to do stressful drives to work anymore wich saves $$$ and the planet.
we all were very cavalier about spreading diseases to each other before. workaholics always brought them to work. i can see hygiene innovations becoming a business opportunity solving this issue so we can come back together and maybe be more healthy. like using copper for door handles and railings to kill germs. other things we dont know about like air filtration and whatnot.
if you’ve been into health supplements and food as medicine thats another area being boosted as people think about protecting themselves. recipes for healing will be bigger. we will move away from pills and to food as medicine again. since alot of that pill stuff might not be available.
i hope we take a look at all these world wide level four bio-hazard labs and have a social movement to eliminate them like people went after nuclear power. what if we learn that all the new viruses came out of these places either accidentally or purposefully.
broader acceptance of ubi might be good. theres alot of conservative pressure against it but i always though what a lot of waste and inefficiency forcing people into really bad jobs they dont want to do for low pay. if we were all more economically stable would we invent new economies and explore more interesting pursuits that could also lead to profits monetarily but more enlivening to people.
finally were seeing whats essential, like certain jobs we looked down on or forgot about. should this crisis cause us to re evaluate those jobs and re evaluate their re-numeration as well.
so yeah we have the vaccine agenda and all the usual control issues which i hope we fight back against but there will be some good things coming as well. conversations like this weeks are a good reminder to see the opportunity in the crisis and not just the dangers.

  5. hello Dreamlanders – appreciate the response to the interview. I’ll log in every so often if anyone has questions. – Yanik

  6. Wyrd is an old Anglo-Saxon word that refers to Fate for that culture. Thus the Norse Norns are often compared to the Greek Fates who spin the web of our lives. Whitley, I love your sincerity. I’m very curious about the Louise Hay thing. I thought she was supposed to be the queen of positivity, so I’m confused.
I am trying to find a way to describe the unity of mind, heart, and body as I think that the idea that they are separate is very Cartesian.
I think there is an aspect of karma involved with being in the right place at the right time to have one’s journal published. We are also struggling with our own paths’ requirements as we have created them for our development.
Whitley, your brother sounds like a hoot!

  7. Author

I was told by an editor at Hay House that she had a negative view of me, and indeed, they have never gone near anything I have ever written, so that’s where it stands. I know nothing else about it.

And my brother is indeed a hoot!
