A wave of UFO sightings is occurring across the Midwestern US, according to reports being received by George Filer?s Filer?s Files. In Evansville, Indiana, witnesses spotted a group of UFOs that looked like ?a fleet of plates, all gray except for the lights, flying through the air on April 13, 2001.? They go on to say, ?We saw [them] real early in the morning at 2:27 am. The discs were hovering there for about 20 seconds, then they took off towards the north. They had numerous lights on the bottom that were a reddish color and turned green when they left. Hundreds of pieces of Roman armor, similar to the type worn in the movie “Gladiator,” have been unearthed in an archaeological dig in England.

The find was made at Carlisle Castle in Cumbria, as archaeologists uncovered buildings dating back to the Emperor Hadrian’s visit to Britain in 122 AD. Among the discoveries was a workshop where armor was made containing hundreds of pieces of armor and weaponry, including spears, arrow heads and sling shots.

New research suggests that panic attacks and phobias may be linked to an unusual genetic abnormality. Dr. Xavier Estevill, of the Duran I Rynals Hospital in Barcelona, has discovered a new genetic mechanism for your fears.

Estevill has discovered that, among a random sampling of people with anxiety disorders, 97 percent had a duplication of genetic material on chromosome 15, as compared with 7 percent in a comparison group of healthy people. Phobias afflict about 10 to 20 percent of the human population.

More evidence has been found proving that those sweet little birds, hopping and chirping about in your yard, are related to the dinosaurs of the distant past. A 130-million-year-old fossil of a feathered dinosaur has been discovered by farmers in China. It turns out that the impact that wiped out the dinosaurs didn’t kill off all of them-it left a few smaller ones behind that were covered with feathers.

Dr. Mark Norell, of the American Museum of Natural History, said the fossil was about 2 ? feet long, the size of a duck with a long tail. “It shows us that these creatures looked more like weird birds than giant lizards,” he said. Despite being small, this dinosaur is related to the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex.
