Crop formations have all but disappeared from the public mind, and with them the chance that they offered to restore our sense of wonder about the world around us. This has happened not only because of the frantic debunking of the early years, but more recently because of the proliferation of hoaxed formations made by artists on behalf of farmers hoping to charge admission and tour companies eager to bring in busloads of tourists.

This video, sent to us by an Unknowncountry reader, shows a strobing light directly over the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. It is too stationary to be a hovering drone or a passing plane, so it is a genuine unknown. UPDATE 8/4/16: Additional surveillance video posted on Facebook suggests that this is probably a drone with a strobe light on it. We downgrade it to B, possible unknown.

EU Commission President Jean Claude Juncker has created a sensation by stating in an open meeting that he has conversed with extraterrestrials who are concerned about Brexit. In the French, perfectly clear in this video, he states that he has talked to representatives of an alien species, and they have stated that they are worried about Brexit.

Of course, by making such a statement, he admits that they are real and that he, at least, is one government official who is in contact with them. Is he telling the truth, joking, or somehow misstating himself? You can find versions of all three opinions all over the internet. We do not offer an opinion here, but only take notice of the fact that he made the statement.

This is a slightly enlarged version of an image taken by an individual on June 22, 2016 while fishing on the north fork of the Yuba River in California. It was submitted to MUFON and is designated as Case Number 77296. The object was not discovered until after the photos were seen. The witness was taking pictures of the scenery at the time, and had taken three photographs in quick succession. This image appears in only one of them. It was taken in a very secluded area.

The image displays a slight distortion indicative of the fact that the object was moving at a speed so high that it registered more than once on a single frame of video.
