This video, sent to us by an Unknowncountry reader, shows a strobing light directly over the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. It is too stationary to be a hovering drone or a passing plane, so it is a genuine unknown. UPDATE 8/4/16: Additional surveillance video posted on Facebook suggests that this is probably a drone with a strobe light on it. We downgrade it to B, possible unknown.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has forecast that temperatures for the months of August, September and October will be above average for the United States, including both the contiguous states and Alaska. According to research into NOAA’s archives on the matter done by Gizmodo, a forecast stretch of above-average temperatures this long is unprecedented.
