"I was changing a CD as I was driving and when I looked up I saw what looked like a car without its lights on, stopped in the middle of the road outside Shantytown. I slammed on my brakes and my eyes were still trying to focus, when suddenly the thing just lit up and shot into the sky." The witness adds that other drivers must have seen it, but so far no reports. Was this a UFO or a secret aircraft? This object would appear to be a plane on descent with its landing lights on during the day, but the videographer says that the local Leeds-Bradford Airport is not visible in that direction from his window. It would also be easy to create a computer graphic that would look like this, but this is the only UFO video he has posted, so it’s a definite maybe. Normally, hoaxers have many such videos posted.

The sun’s magnetic field flips every 11 years, and it’s about to do it again. As reported on Unknowncountry.com it last flipped on February 15, 2001, as the previous solar max reached its height. The complete field reversal is 3 to 4 months away. The shift will mark the midpoint of Solar Max 24, which has been one of the quietest on record. However, quiet solar maximums tend to produce fewer but more intense solar storms, as happened a few weeks ago when a huge coronal mass ejection was sent into space.read more
