So far no word, but he did say specificially this morning that they were boarding their plane. That was quite some time ago, though. They were boarding at 7:30 AM NY time, and it’s a six hour flight from Cairo to London, so they should have gotten there at 1:30 PM New York time. We just have to wait, I suppose. Fingers crossed, prayers aloft!

First it was drought, then it was massive floods–now Australia faces a hurricane that is estimated to be twice the size of hurricane Katrina and at least as powerful. The Australian Meteorology Bureau issued the following warning: ‘This impact is likely to be more life threatening than any experienced during recent generations." The largest typhoon so far recorded was supertyphoon Tip, which struck Guam in 1979 with 200 mph winds. Yasi has so far displayed winds of 180 miles per hour and is expected to strengthen over the next 24 hours.read more

NASA is required by law not to comment on unknowns that it discovers until the military has determined that they are not dangerous. So it remains silent on the wealth of evidence that it releases in the normal course of its operations, limiting itself to pointing out which objects are thought to be space debris and not commenting on the others.
