We’ve reported on the dangers of feeding infants with plastic baby bottles. Now it?s been discovered that although breastfeeding doesn’t make kids smarter, breastfed kids DO attain higher social status when they’re adults.

A large, long term study reveals that breastfed kids climb higher up the social ladder than bottle-fed children. For two years, from 1937-1939, over 3,000 children from 16 rural and urban areas across England and Scotland were monitored from birth. Around 1,400 children, who are in their 60s and 70s today, were studied.

For many years we have said that one of the ways that EVERYONE can help fight global warming is by simply changing your light bulbs. Soon it’s going to be easier than ever.

General Electric has re-engineered incandescent bulbs to make them as energy-efficient as fluorescents. According to Business Wire, “Adoption of new technology could lead to greenhouse gas emission reductions of up to 40 million tons of CO2 in the US and up to 50 million tons in the EU, if the entire installed base of traditional incandescent bulbs was replaced with [these new] lamps.”

It just shows that big business CAN do the right thing, if enough consumers make it clear that they want a change.

We have been posting stories about Jesus’s supposed grave for over 5 years, including stories about a box that may have contained the bones of his brother James, along with frequent updates about its veracity. On March 4, The Lost Tomb of Jesus, by Simcha Jocobivici and James Cameron (who directed the film Titanic) was shown on the Discovery Channel. A book titled The Jesus Family Tomb has been written by Jocobivici and Charles Pellegrino about this discovery. We will soon post a Dreamland show with Laurence Gardner and William Henry about this topic.

After reading that fluorescent light bulbs have now been mandated in Australia, and hearing on the radio that they are now being used exclusively in US government buildings (despite the current resident’s reluctance to acknowledge global warming), we felt had to make the switch.
