A hairy, six-foot monster that howls and stinks like death is rumored to live in the semi-darkness under the leafy canopy of the Amazon jungle. The Amazon Indians have a legend that this creature stalks the forests like a tropical Abominable Snowman. Like Bigfoot, it has never been captured or clearly photographed.

Greg Avery has offered us these additional images, which will be referred to during the Jan 5, 2002 Dreamland. Greg refers to the first image as the “holy grail” of orb photography because of its complex structure and shape. He feels that he can prove that this image could not be duplicated by any known means other than intentional fabrication, in other words, that this is not dust, moisture or any other known natural phenomenon.

The second image was created by 3D illustrator Jason Martineau, based on the observed structure of orbs seen in Greg’s photographs. The figures were created with Bryce 3, Photoshop and POV-ray and are believed to be accurate models of the structure of some of the actual objects.

Just a few days after the euro was introduced in Europe, German police revealed that a 12-year old girl handed in a counterfeit 50 euro note she found on a train travelling from Cologne to Troisdorf.

?She noticed it was a forgery because it did not have any of the security features,? says a police spokesman. While the forgery was ?apparently… not very good,? it was ?printed on both sides, which is better than some forgeries you get.?

Later, German police revealed that a criminal used a fake 500 euro note made from photos cut from a euro information brochure to get change of almost 1,000 German marks in coins from a casino.
