Midwest Meteors Light Up The Sky
Meteors proceeded across the midwestern sky on the night of October 13 from southwest to northwest. These meteors moved relatively slowly, and were reminiscent of a similar phenomenon observed and videotaped in Mexico a number of times in the 1990s. A typical description was provided by a Dreamland fan: “I live in Wichita, Kansas. At approximatley 7:30pm, something flew over the skies in south Kansas. This object, or series of objects, flew in an upward angle toward the skies. It lasted approximatly 4-5 minutes, leaving a trail of red, orange, and blue gases.”
