Beautiful Whitley. Thank you. This was very well presented and thought provoking. But you are referring, I presume, to one particular species of "visitors". Bud Hopkin's "scientist" aliens may still be coming, no? Just the enormous variety of UFO's alone suggest that we are not yet familiar with the physical form of even most of the various species coming here.

And........why do not any of the NDE experiences involve meetings with "The Visitors"? If there was that important a connection between the "dead" and ET's as a general rule, you would think this would be common. Perhaps most (all?) of your "visitor" experience is specific to one species? And if so, can you then justify making such general claims about the ET issue, as you do here? I asked about the chocolate warning on the chat room awhile back and Anne told me they told Whitley to stop eating chocolate as a way to practice self control, since Whitley loved chocolate so much. I always did think it was allergy related...

Whitley seems to talking about a heart based conscious getting out of ego. Check out a book called The Course in miracles describes it very well. I agree with the above post - this is Whitley at his thought-provoking best, and one of my absolute favorites. There is much to ponder here, too much to address in these comments. Listen to this, and listen again. Thanks, Whitley - this is why we are here at Unknown Country, and what most other paranormal websites are lacking - emphasis on the soul and its growth.

There is, at least, one person (myself) who experienced a NDE who also experienced alien presence during the event. We just don't all talk about it. Not only that, there were aliens involved with my birth, and definitely, aliens involved with my mother's death 22 years ago. Furthermore, in my experiences, the mythologies of humanity get all tangled up in the experience lending even more mystery. Who can explain it all...not me.

It was right after WWII, I was about ten years old. My friend Mickey, his grandfather, Grandpa Charlie, and I hiked down to the Old Mill Pond one summer evening to do some cane-pole, worm and cork-bobber fishing for catfish. The conversation got around to the reports on the radio and in the newspapers about the strange flying disks that were being spotted around the country. I was fascinated with the idea of "Spacemen" visiting the Earth. I said aloud, "Gosh, I wish I could meet someone from outer space!" At that, Grandpa Charlie held out his hand to me and said, "How do you do?"
"Oh come on", I said, "Your'r not from outer space Grandpa Charlie."
Grandpa Charlie looked up and pointed to the stars that were just starting to come out.
"Suppose someone up there, on one of those stars, was looking back at us just as we are looking at him" he said. "Where would he see us?"
"Why, we'd be in outer... " The words never came out of my mouth because I was stunned. The concept completely changed my way of looking at the world and people around me. "WE ARE IN OUTER SPACE... WE ARE THE SPACEMEN!"
Guess it's all just a matter of perspective, Whitley.

Yes Whitley, thank you for this reading. I am still taking baby steps here, and there are times when this is all somewhat disturbing for me. Perhaps "unsettling" is a more accurate word. It seems I may have some memories of my own that are unconventional, and it may be time for me to deal with them. Looking foreward to the next entry as well.

i got a free copy of the 'the key' and even though i know it's been tampered with and one should read the recent addition the same basic ideas i read are there and they are just chilling people, let me tell you ,but take heart, were are doing the best we can and that's enough!

I just heard "contact 1" and it reminded me of an experience I had. I visited a woman who had several cats. They followed us out on a walk but strangely the cats never made eye contact. Suddenly, as I was looking at one, it looked back and I was engulfed in an intensely strange, utterly "alien" feeling. I was stunned and would have thrown up if the cat hadn't looked away. Its owner laughed, " Oh he looked at you huh?" She said it was an alien being incarnated as a cat. I realized that our earth has a field that we feel comfortable in. It is the proverbal air we breathe, but it is not all that exists. If aliens arrived and subjected us to this, we might not be able to handle it. Its intense, uttterly foriegn and impossible to describe. Now I know why they hung witches with certain familiars like her alien cat.

Fascinating stuff! I do hope at some point you will address the problem of our population......7 billion and counting needs obvious control. Will "the visitors" use their power to alter the human body into reproductive cycles like animals or even reproduction at will, eliminating the need for chemical birth control? What about all the people who are still here? What happens to them? So many questions!
