Jim Marrs on Our 'Occulted' History

Today, we are joined by Jim Marrs, who is here to talk about his new book “Our Occulted History.”

Jim and I will be presenting at the Contact in the Desert event August 9-11 in Joshua Tree, Ca. The LA Weekly has called this “the premier UFO convention”. It features George Noory, David Wilcock, Giorgio Tsoukalos, Michael Tellinger, Jason Martel, Michael Cremo and others. For more information, go to ContactInTheDesert.net.

Jim’s lecture, "Our Occulted History --A View from Time and Space", will detail the evidence for the past visitation of non-humans not only on the Earth but also other parts of our solar system.

Jim is an award winning journalist and author of two New York Times best selling books Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy and Rule by Secrecy. His in-depth overview of the UFO phenomenon, Alien Agenda, is the best-selling non-fiction book on UFOs in the world.

Jim Marrs's website is JimMarrs.com.

I think that "they" are trying to keep us from evolving...

Listening to Jim is like listening to my conspiracy friend.. many interesting comments flecked with WTF moments. Jims WTF moment was the fleeting comment about Obama using 15,000 RUSSIAN troops for something... 15K troops couldn't secure a city in West Virginia let alone anything else. Alas, thus is life on the razors edge.

arghhh sorry - I posted twice by mistake. See below.

The 15k Russian troops comment comes from an internet site that serves up speculation as fact - usually fear mongering type stories. Problem is I cannot find any facts to backup any such statement. There was a meeting between Fema and their Russian counterpart but this has nothing to do with the claims of the article. 1 gram of facts - 1 ton of speculation

Here's the wiki on the site that started the rumor: "The European Union Times claims to be a news site. Its articles on Barack Obama have been linked from a few Libertarian teabag blogs, presumably pleased to find what is apparently a news site that supports some of their views. It even has lots of mainstream advertising served by respectable to all appearances.

Upon closer inspection, however, it is little more than a compiler and regurgitator of various news stories and a particularly unpleasant far-right-leaning blog. The reporting is, without exception, shockingly unprofessional."

Visit it and make up your own mind. To me it sounds like a mouthpiece. They pretend they "know" more about Snowden than even The Guardian who broke the story.

Jim does have some points - just wish he wouldn't quote such stories as fact when they have absolutely no basis in reality and they come from such a non-credible source.

Have read all of Jim's books - but am astonished at his comments about Lincoln and the 14th amendment. What???!!!! So, according to Marrs, if congress had done it "right" ... slavery would have continued. Perfectly OK with Jim, I guess. Time to do a reality check, Mr. Marrs.

@Oakstar - Yes that was very weird. I'm leaving open room for him miss-communicating his point... but still...

Indeed. Benefit of the doubt and all ...

Jim has done good work in the past, but he seems to be slipping. I started having misgivings a couple of years ago when he told Whitley that we should protest everything by just not voting. Whitley didn't think much of that idea. Now this interview only confirms that Jim is on shaky ground when discussing politics. I guess William thought he had to put Jim on the show because they're friends of sorts, and it seemed toward the end that William couldn't end the interview fast enough. As others have noted, Jim is now converting the latest goofy Internet whisper into an actual fact. And, of course, he's full of contradictions. If we're headed to a North American Union, why are we getting ready to build a huge security fence along the Mexican border? There are lots of legitimate questions to be asked about ETs, recorded history, wars, banks, 911 etc., and Jim used to handle these matters fairly well. Now he seems very angry, unfocused and maybe just out of fresh ideas. It's quite possible that I've listened to my last Jim Marrs interview.

Hear! Hear! Eloquently put.

Hear! Hear! Eloquently put.

This speech might not flow with this particular interview but after receiving it from a friend yesterday, I want to post it anyway. If you choose to watch/listen to the speech then PLEASE listen to the very end.

An Antidote for Paradoxical Times

When the student body of an elite private school in Silicon Valley was given the chance to vote on who would give their graduation address, their first pick was Nipun Mehta. An unexpected choice for these teenagers, who belong to what Time magazine called the "Me Me Me Generation." Mehta's journey is the antithesis of self-serving. More than a decade ago, he walked away from a lucrative career in high-tech, to explore the connection between inner change and external impact. ServiceSpace, the non-profit he founded has now drawn over 450,000 members across the globe. In this electrifying address that garnered a standing ovation, Nipun calls out the paradoxical crisis of disconnection in our hyper-connected world -- and offers up three powerful keys that hold the antidote.

Man, the schills are out tonight! The civil war was over banking, not slavery. That was just the public rallying cry for the North's enlistment. The bankers and industry in England were enticing the South while the North wanted the sales. The Rothschild banking brother's were dividing the country like they have so many 3rd world countries, all the while enriching themselves all the more. Our government now can't spend a dollar without giving the Rothschild's a dime for each one.

@Terry L Edward - Really - How exactly do you explain the 13th Amendment at a time when the South was ready to negotiate for a stop to war, and are you saying we were better off with slavery still standing?

Listen to what Jim said instead of what you want to hear. It always takes him a min to get to his point. It was about how people in charge could possibly one day spin what actually happened to their advantage. Not about slavery. I'm really tired of all the negative comments on this site there really is no need for it

I agree chuckf.
