Out There stories relating to "UK UFO"

This amateur video shows an object that does not appear to be a computer graphic and, given the wind, it's neither a drone nor a sky lantern. This is a probable unknown.

Your Out There editor can't find any reason to believe or debunk this story, so here it is:pilots landing an Airbus A320 at Manchester in the UK were surprised to see a man fly past at an altitude of 3,800 feet as they passed over Macclesfield. He wasn't picked up on radar, and neither pilot saw a canopy above him. If there was no canopy, then he wasn't in a powered hang-glider or ultralight. There are no mountains nearby from which a wingsuiter could have taken off and reached an altitude of nearly 4,000 feet.

Why do they do it? Stupid, lying morons. For the skinny on this asinine prank, click here. There are tens of thousands of genuinely unexplained UFO images out there, so why does the troll patrol even bother? But they do, they do...

It was done as a vicious publicity stunt for a Sigh-Fie and Fantasy weekend in Portsmouth. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Out There has been pretty quiet for a while! The reason is that we've been flooded with UFO hoaxes using drones, some of them very convincing, all of them fake. It's similar to the Sky Lantern fad, except that the fakes can be harder to spot. In addition, Mars is just coming off perigee, meaning that it is about as far as it gets from Earth. The farther the distance between the two planets, the fewer UFO events on Earth. As it gets closer, the number of UFO sightings usually rises, so they should be peaking toward the end of 2015 when it will be at apogee, or its closest point.

The witness to this object in the UK reports that it was moving very fast, and thus not what it looks like, a lenticular cloud. It would take only a moment to hoax this using simple software, so we just have to take him at his word. It is getting increasingly difficult to evaluate these cases, so if YOU have a UFO image, do send it to [email protected] and we'll be glad to take a look. Far better than trolling the internet!

This brief documentary, suppressed back in the 1960s, has resurfaced. The honesty of this witness was just too obvious for the authorities to tolerate. You watch her talking and describing what she has seen, and you cannot really deny that she is telling the truth. It was an amazing sighting.

If the witness description of this object is accurate, then it must be a genuine unknown. The witness offers a careful description of the movements of the object that would be impossible for a balloon, and adds a detail familiar from many sightings and close encounters: extreme agitation from nearby animals. Our photo experts feel that this is a genuine mystery.

The object caused sheep in the area to start making what to the ear of the witness were unusual, high-pitched sounds of terror. The sighting took place in Wales, where sheep mutilations have been a worrisome constant for well over a hundred years.

Ring clouds have been photographed fairly frequently for years, but there is no entirely convincing explanation for them. This formation that appeared over Leamington Spa in the UK yesterday is particularly well formed. It hovered for some time before dissipating. There were no storms or unusual weather in the area at the time.

An Unknowncountry reader reminded us that a ring cloud was observed and photographed during a the Rex Heflin UFO sighting in 1965. The cloud, pictured here, emerged as the UFO disappeared.

A meteor? A crashing secret aircraft? An unknown object in some sort of trouble? One thing that's clear: this is no ordinary jet contrail. Jets emit exhaust evenly. It may be blown by the wind, but it doesn't thicken, then grow thinner like this. Most likely explanation: a meteor.

There is no reason to think that this photo is a plane or a balloon. Probable unknown. Thanks to the National UFO Center.

This report describes a 'rectangular UFO,' which would be similar to one reported in California in 2010, and also to one seen over the radio station Whitley Strieber was broadcasting Dreamland from in 1999. He also commented on the earlier story that he'd seen such UFOs as a child. Click on "Square UFO" above to see the earlier report.

No reason at all to disbelieve this story. The pilot saw something moving at high speed directly toward his A320. It appeared to be a cigar shaped metallic object. Not likely to be a drone or, at an altitude of 34,000 feet, a balloon. This was yet another UFO near miss, and given how slowly the report filtered out to the public, and how wary pilots are of making such reports at all, you have to wonder how many just go unreported, and if any have resulted in crashes.

At a time when the internet is being swamped fake UFO video, this photo stands out as a genuine possibility. It has been posted, as well, by Open Minds, which is one of the outstanding resources on the internet for people who take a serious interest in this subject. Despite all the fakes, it cannot be forgotten that there is a very real phenomenon out there. People don't realize it yet, but eventually it will come to be seen for what it really is: the single most important thing that has happened in the history of our species. In the end, this denied, derided and ignored subject will change everything.

This hour-long interview is one of the best alien contact cases ever recorded. It is not to be missed for anyone seeking greater insight into this extraordinary phenomenon.

A mother feeding her baby at 5:20 AM in the UK spotted a bright light hovering in the sky. When it didn't move off, she took a picture of it, with the result that you see here. Read the full story in the Watford Observer. Classification: Unknown object.

An aeronautical engineer has taken a snapshot showing two clear UFOs over the River Dart in Devon. He had the camera examined and found that there was no dust on the sensor. Nine seconds after the objects appeared, they were gone. He knows this because he took two shots nine seconds apart. He did not see the UFOs when he was taking the pictures. Normally, UFO photos come in the form of blurs, but these are very clearly round objects, not birds or planes. Probable unknown.

Your Out There editor hears that UFO sightings and close encounters are becoming more and more common. There is no reason to doubt this aeronautical engineer's report.
Given all the strange noises being heard since early 2012, this story is particularly interesting. A UFO, then a terrifying rumble and localized earthquake. There is no reason to disbelieve this story. Probable unknown with unusual sonic effects.

This interesting object was videotaped through a telescope at 5:30 in the morning after the witness noticed an unusual looking light in the sky. One YouTuber comments that it's a defocused star. If so, it's a very unusual defocusing. Probable unknown.

Allegedly two different witnesses photographed this object overhead in Stroud in the UK. It's not near any famous UK UFO hotspots, the nearest one being Warminster 50 miles away. It would be an easy matter to fake this shot, but I'm going with it as a possible unknown for two reasons. The first is that a second witness is apparently involved. The second is that it appears somewhat similar to some other low-level shots that have been taken over the years. So, if there really was a second witness, this is a genuine unknown. If not, it could be anything from a close up of a button to a plate or hubcap. Recently a UFO photographed over Phoenix was found to be a high flying NASA research balloon. This looks like something similar, but has nothing of the appearance of the NASA balloon. Could it be an amateur effort to create a UFO, or are research balloons becoming more common? It appears to morph into a rocket-like shape, complete with an exhaust glow. There is enough strangeness here to warrant a look.

This object would appear to be a plane on descent with its landing lights on during the day, but the videographer says that the local Leeds-Bradford Airport is not visible in that direction from his window. It would also be easy to create a computer graphic that would look like this, but this is the only UFO video he has posted, so it's a definite maybe. Normally, hoaxers have many such videos posted.

Airmen and Air Traffic Controllers at an RAF base in the UK saw a glowing 'blob' break up into dozens of small pieces and fly away at incredible speeds. And, basically, nobody had any idea what had happened or what to do about it. They just knew that it had indeed happened. So, what's a Ministry of Defence to do? Just exactly what they have done: claim that UFOs aren't a threat and therefore they're not going to be doing anything about them. The truth? They may or may not be a threat, but one thing is clear: governments can't do a thing about them. And that's really why they keep claiming that there's nothing to this REALITY.

According to leading UFO investigator Nick Pope, this is a strong UFO photo. While it would not be difficult to photoshop, the witness appears to be sincere. Unless proven otherwise, this is a probable unknown, and another reminder of just how many photographs and videos of genuine unknowns there are these days. Will there ever be a final moment when they land and the mystery is solved?

Sussex resident John Raymond snapped this shot of a strange object when he was taking a picture of the full moon. For Dr. Who fans, it bears a curious resemblance to the Tardis, Dr. Who's time machine.

The pilots of three planes in the process of landing at Gatwick Airport in the UK on 30 December 2012, reported seeing two discs hovering above the airport. The first was the pilot of a Boeing 777, who reported spotting "two flat silver discs" at 0853 GMT.

The crews of a Boeing 767 and an Airbus 319 observed the same objects. The crew of the 777 described them as appearing manmade and looking like toys.

The local Scientology headquarters was just below the objects.

This is a typical example of a high-flying fastwalker moving across the sky. Sometimes YouTube hoaxers will video a satellite, then alter the speed of the video. It does not appear to have happened here. The creator of this video provided an excellent description of this videotaping session:

Using a Pulsar Recon 550 digital monocular and a Yukon MPR, what was initially thought to be satellite was tracked and film. You will see in the footage that the first object is quite faint but you can see it moving in a straight line through the shot. Then a second object moving much quicker enters the shot but as it moves parallel to the first object and too the right of it, it suddenly moves away from it. It clearly increases its distance from the first object.

Both objects were moving towards North West. A tripod was not used in this instance, because I am not a specialist and boast about having the best tripods. The one I use is good enough for what I do and is light weight and quick to set up but does not tilt straight up.

(Please note that the time on the footage is one hour behind due to British summer time effect.)

Now these are UFOs because they cannot be identified easily. Satellites move it a set orbit at high speed in space, but cannot just simply 'move away' from another object so quickly. NORAD monitors space traffic and satellite operators are notified in advance of possible collisions so they can adjust the orbit to move out of the way.

But in this footage the object on the right clearly moves away from the first and increases its distance. Is it high altitude aircraft operating in space? Could they be drones? Could they be satellites?

Or are they extraterrestrial?

Equipment used: Pulsar Recon 550 digital night vision monocular, recorded onto a Yukon MPR with 4gb SD card. Recorded above the Longmynd Hills in Shropshire UK on 19/04/2013

This may be a genuine unknown, and if so, it is an excellent UFO photo, reminiscent of the images taken by Ed Walters in Gulf Breeze Florida in the 1990s. There is a possibility also that it is some sort of hot-air balloon, which is suggested by the flickering flame in the base, and its slow trajectory of descent.

The strange object pictured here was seen ascending over a bird sanctuary in England at 5:25 PM local time Wednesday. The object has an appearance uncannily similar to a ghost rocket that was photographed over Newfoundland on January 25, 2010. Despite an exhaustive investigation by Canadian authorities, the mystery of the rocket was never solved. Our best guess: this one won't be, either. The photos are genuine. For our story on the Canadian object, click here.

A police officer in the British Midlands observed a fast moving UFO with a pulsing blue light operating near the Birmingham airport. There is no reason to doubt this account.

It's not often that a reporter not only witnesses a UFO but files a report on it. From his paper, the Economic Voice:  “We were travelling back home from a family meal in Brecon in the dark when my youngest son pointed out a two very bright lights moving towards us from the direction of Cantref advancing at an approximated speed of 60mph in the direction of Groesffordd.”

The lights appeared to be facing down towards the ground and there was no noise coming from the craft, it was silent and my wife found this to be very unnerving, as did I.”

I caught a glimpse of a green light on the underside and my initial thought was I must be looking at the starboard light from a Hercules flying low on exercises as they frequently do in the Brecon Beacons, however there were no red port lights and then I noticed that there were another two green lights all at the other corners of what turned out to be a large black triangular shaped craft.”

This object is displaying unusual lights, but it really could be anything, even something launched by a hoaxer. Nevertheless, the video is a good one, and the possibility that we are looking at a genuine unknown must be seriously considered.
