Out There stories relating to "Orbs"
Wednesday, December 4, 2013
UFOs have been reported across Texas over the past few days, including orange orbs over El Paso and a cigar shaped object over Arlington. As always, orange orbs could be sky lanterns, but at present the El Paso lights have not been positively identified as such.

Glowing orange orbs are being reported worldwide, not in huge numbers, but frequently enough to suggest that the phenomenon is on the rise. On Dreamland
on October 11, two friends of the Striebers described seeing similar orbs rising up out of Santa Monica Bay a few days before. Around the same time, Whitley Strieber observed a silver orb in daylight.
, from Hertfordshire in England, includes an excellent photo of something that is clearly not a sky lantern, given the intensity of the glow. The observer also took a shot of the moon to compare the two.

This is a remarkable video. One of our photo analysts has looked at it and confirms that it is almost certainly authentic, not a CGI or other effect. Midway into the video something appears below the orb that seems to be a humanoid figure. However, the resolution is too low for us to be absolutely certain what it is. We are in contact with the videographer and hope to study this further. This is a probable unknown. On the other hand, another Unknowncountry reader sent us this video
of a quadcopter "UFO" saying that the colored lights are a 'dead giveaway.' There is no way to tell whether or not the original video is a quadcopter, not given the resolution available.

This video was made on May 15 by a sharp-eyed skywatcher in Melbourne. The object is moving too fast to be a bird, a radio-controlled model plane or a balloon. Brad Morris says of his video, "This shows what really happens when you're in the air around a high activity zone..i also captured many saucers in the same cloud system yet to upload most of them..."
The object is very hard to see at normal speed, but Mr. Morris has done a good job of demonstrating its presence by using slow motion and screen grabs. This is most likely an unknown, and a reminder of how much of this must be going on worldwide, given how difficult it is to see and how most people have been conditioned to believe that these objects don't exist. However, given their behavior, which hardly seems related at all to what 'alien scientists' might do observing us, the question must be asked: what are they doing? Why was this object even there? Certainly, no obvious purpose presents itself.

Five witnesses at Louisiana university observed a glowing object circle their campus at low altitude several times on April 12, 2013.
This description of an orb circling a campus in Louisiana, corroborated by a number of witnesses, is unlikely to have been a sky lantern. It would appear to be a genuine unknown. Many of our readers equate orbs with the souls of the dead, including Whitley Strieber, who has reported experiences that suggest this connection.

These blue lights appeared over Dulce, New Mexico last night. In UFO legend, Dulce is the site of an underground alien base. A number of cattle mutilations were recoded there in the 1970s.

The first part of this video is pretty interesting. It is one of the longest and clearest orb videos I am aware of. Mr. Strieber sent it to our video experts, and the response so far is that it is probably not a CGI job, and is not any obvious known object like a balloon or some sort of cinder. It moves with apparent purpose, almost as if it is displaying itself. The second part of the tape is of nighttime lights. Unfortunately, like most such videos there is no real way to determine what it is.

There is no reason to disbelieve this video, and it is indeed yet another UFO grouping, this time over New York City. These are really becoming so common that we have to wonder if they might not be leading to something new.
Yet more orbs seen over California.

Hard to claim that these very strange lights were lanterns. The question: is there some kind of living form in the sky that accounts for sightings like this?
