Out There stories relating to "Mexico UFO"

There have been flying horse UFOs over Milan and Mecca, both of which turned out to be toy balloons, but this doesn't seem to fit that description. It could be a drone being flown by somebody attempting to observe the Colima eruption, or it could be something stranger. In either case, it is an unknown at this time.

There is a rash of UFO sightings along the Yucatan coast at present. The Yucatan has been an area of sightings for many years, and one wonders if the phenomenon might also have influenced the ancient Maya. This sighting was in the port of Progreso, and is reported by Scott Corrales

Hector Ramirez is one of those people who has a knack for noticing strange things in the sky, and this is the second video we have seen from him taken in Cocoyoc, in Metepec State in Mexico. It's hardly a conventional UFO, but if it's a cluster of balloons, they are acting in a very strange way. Here
is his earlier video, taken last May.

Here, Third Millenium's Jaime Maussan gathers a number of formation videos that are difficult to explain. They are probably not flocks of geese with the motion sped up because their positions hardly vary, and the one shot over Mexico in January has an outlier flying with a formation of 7 objects that moves in exactly synch with them.
These unusual videos represent probable unknowns.

It's not possible to be certain that this isn't a distant plane or even a blimp, but there is also a good chance that it's an unknown object.

This video of a UFO supposedly racing past the Popocatepetl Volcano near Mexico City has been viralizing around the internet lately. It purports to show a UFO racing toward the ominously smoking Popo crater, then flying into it. What it actually shows is a slightly sped up image of an observation plane circling the crater, then moving downward behind it. Such flights around Popo are common.

This clip from a webcam watching the Popocatepetl volcano near Mexico City reveals a fast moving cigar-shaped object similar to one that apparently entered the volcano in October of last year. That video was dismissed by some experts as a hoax, but we saw it as possibly an authentic unknown. This new video reinforces that view. To see our October story, click here

Originally, your Out There editor wrote: "At first, this appears to be a flock of birds, but it isn't a flock of birds. First, each object is independently lit by a light powerful enough to produce significant illumination in a sunlit sky. Second, there are no wing flapping motions. However, the objects do appear to be gliding on thermals, or they are being maneuvered to present this appearance. These are genuine unknowns, and very strange ones."
Unfortunately, I fell for a hoax video. I look at dozens of videos every day, always hoping to see something I genuinely can't explain. What I can't explain here is why I bought into this obvious hoax. Normally, I'm careful and quite successful at this. I seriously considered resigning after this, but Whitley Strieber wants me to stay. He said, 'I can't do this myself, and you're better than you think.' I'm going to continue what has become a profound and very engaging task for me, sifting through the chaff to find the occasional nugget of gold.

This video was brought to our attention by Mexican UFO expert Jaime Maussan, and it is remarkable. There is no suggestion of hoax in this video taken by a webcam that watches the Popocatepetl volcano. The volcano has been active lately, and threatens a large human population. So what is this object doing? Also, I might add that it strongly resembles glowing bars that have been recorded in Kentucky recently.

This object could easily be a mass of balloons tied together and fitted with light-emitting diodes, but if so, the LEDs are exceptionally bright, and one has to wonder about the weight of the power source. Of course, without knowing the altitude, it's impossible to tell how large the cluster might be. The analysis linked on this story asserts that this cannot be a cluster of balloons, but to your ever-cynical Out There editor, they have made some good points, but not conclusively proved their case.

This photo is likely authentic. It may reveal a falling meteor, but if so the trail is exceptionally regular.

Clearly, something was observed in this case, and it sounds as if it was far too brightly lit to be something like a US drone looking for drug traffickers or even something launched by a drug smuggler.

Because of the way the bulges keep withdrawing into the central core, this does not appear to be balloons. But what is it? This is a well made video of a real unknown, and a very, very strange one.

This OpenMinds article points out that the UFO seen surrounded by a cloud in Russia is quite similar to one seen in Mexico, and shows side by side photos.

This one is pretty standard until 2:15 in, when the object suddenly explodes, leaving residue in the sky. It is just possible that this is some sort of balloon, but it appears to be lit from within, which would make it a very unusual one. We are sending this to our video experts for analysis and their responses will be posted in the Unknowncountry.com video section.

This Mexican UFO was dismissed as a meteor, despite its unusual configuration. Now a similar object has been seen over Georgia.
