Out There stories relating to "Florida UFO"

This object was picked up on a surveillance camera at the Florida Space Walk of Fame Museum. Charlie Mars, the president of the museum told Orlando CBS affiliate "We can't explain it. Nor can the fellow who put in the [survellance] system for us."

It isn't a dust particle close to the lens of the camera or the movement would be different. It does not have the appearance of a video problem or an intentionally added animation. It's graded A, probable unknown.

That said, your Out There editor is a major orb skeptic. I find that the vast majority of orb videos and photos we get are easily explained, usually as dust particles close to the camera lens. This one has me perplexed, frankly.

Our experts have identified the objects in this video as probable flares. Unannounced flare exercises are common in the Vero Beach area. See stories here and here.

One of our experts comments: Dr. Greer's lecture on consciousness and meditation may be more or less valid, but there's no reason to believe these lights are anything but flares. Unlike what he asserts, these lights aren't hovering. They're both drifting slowly down in a lower-right direction, which you can see vis-a-vis the stationary grass in the foreground. As they hit the horizon they go out (and cease illuminating the clouds above) in the same order in which they appeared, and they don't reappear. There's no anomalous motion at all. That is entirely consistent with flares.

Another among the thousands of UFO observations by credible witnesses. It's hard to understand why we ignore the UFO phenomenon. There is no question that it's real. The US government bears a heavy weight of responsibility for the fact that mankind is not gaining the knowledge that would come from proper scientific study of the phenomenon. Were it not for the resistance of the US Air Force, such study would have begun at least fifty years ago. It's just a damn shame--and they should be damned ashamed, too, and the media, and the scientific community, and the idiot skeptics.

Here's an excerpt from the pilot's statement, thanks to MUFON and the Huffington Post:

"As we were coming out the front doors with thousands of fans, I noticed a group of people pointing and staring in the southern sky. I looked up to see what they were watching and saw the following: An extremely bright, pulsating, round white light appeared to be slowly moving north toward the arena. I immediately assumed in was an aircraft on base leg getting ready to make a right turn to land at KFLL. The landing light, or what I thought was a landing light, was extremely bright. Thinking back it really was too bright to be an aircraft but I figured it could be."

Here's more:

"I approximate the object/orb/light to have been about 1500-2000 feet between the final approach fix NOVAE and PIONN. These GPS fixes are noted on the ILS 10L Approach Plate for KFLL. That would place it approximately 8-10 miles due west of KFLL on the 270 deg radial."

This is from an airline pilot with 34 years of experience and knowledge of the local airport. In this insane world of ours, though, he must remain anonymous. Again, shameful. At least he risked sending a report to MUFON.

This remarkable, morphing, multicolored object approached to within a few feet of witnesses in Florida. Shortly thereafter, many planes appeared in the area. For more, go to Examiner.com.

Another ghost rocket has been observed by a witness, this time over Florida. Last year, one was photographed in England, and in 2010, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police completed an extensive investigation of one that appeared over Newfoundland. There will, of course, be no such investigation of an unknown object over the United States, but the witness description given to MUFON and published on the Examiner is compelling.

Dreamland guests Rob and Trish MacGregor had a UFO sighting in Jupiter, Florida on the night of September 21. They report that the orange-colored orbs they observed did not blink or flicker out, suggesting that they probably weren't candle lanterns. Although it is hard to judge from a photo, such lanterns do not rise very far into the sky, and these lights appear to be well above the horizon. Possible unknowns.

I just happened pick this up thanks to Suzanne Chancellor's posting in on the Whitley Strieber Society on Face Book. If this is a real video, it appears to be something in some sort of trouble, dropping flaming wreckage. No reports of any air crashes in the region in late May.

This video is almost certainly authentic. It shows a disk appearing, then a series of events that appear to involve some sort of electrical plasma over a swimming pool. It's taken with a surveillance camera. Your Out There editor considers this one of the most unusual UFO videos ever recorded. If it isn't a hoax, and nothing would surprise me, then we are looking at an event involving very advanced technology.

A witness observed some UFOs yesterday in Wachula, Florida about sunset on July 20. Then at 9PM he began to hear unusual rumbling and went outside to see the sky full of fighter jets that appeared to be chasing very fast, bright objects that would 'turn with pinpoint precision.' A total of 8 witnesses watched as 55 objects darted around the jets, which were unable to even come close to matching their maneuvers. After about an hour, there was just one UFO left, which began bobbing in place, still easily outmaneuvering the jets. After another hour of this, the UFO "disappeared into thin air."

If this is an accurate and true account, it ranks as one of the most extraordinary UFO events in history. If you were also a witness to this event, please write out_there@unknowncountry.com.

This just in from an Unknowncountry reader: Today a Delta 4 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. I’ve seen hundreds of launches. Initially what I thought was a stage separation turned out to be something a little more bizarre. I’ve attached a picture of the rocket approximately 2 minutes after liftoff. I noticed these 3 distinct orbs. When a launch occurs, especially at night, more is visible. Debris is seen trailing away from the exhaust path. By the time I realized what I was seeing was not normal, the orbs did not move or fade away. I grabbed the closest camera I had (my phone) and snapped a single image. It shows the three orbs behind the rockets engine glare. After seeing that I had captured the orbs, all three shot off to the south and beyond the horizon in seconds. Very strange. I will be happy to post this narrative, but I will not identify myself.

The bright light in the photo is the rocket engine.

Another Unknowncountry reader adds this report: "We saw them too!   We are in St. Petersburg and were watching the launch.  While we could see the rocket without binoculars, we did also use the binoculars and the orbs were absolutely clear.  We thought it was a giant UFO, 1 to 3 miles across because the four "orbs", in a diamond pattern, stayed in constant relation to each other for approximately one minute before disappearing.  Then, we saw two orbs following what appeared to be closer to the rocket when it was way down-range.  It was amazing."

Residents of Ocala, Florida are observing large numbers of helicopters seemingly accompanying unknown planes, but neither civil nor military authorities can identify the aircraft, which have been seen a number of times on recent nights. This is reminiscent of the 'ghost planes' phenomenon that haunted Norway in the 1930s, and of the 1980 Cash-Landrum case near Houston, where a large number of military helicopters were seen accompanying a flaming triangle device. Witnesses to that event received catastrophic radiation doses. A search party in the Norwegian case was sent looking for the ghost planes and never returned.

Let's hope the Ocala case remains benign.

(The photo on the linked page is a stock photo. It's not intended to be a photo of the mystery aircraft.)

Another low flying triangle, this one in Florida. The question has to be asked: is something new going on? The number of triangle reports has increased significantly over the past year, and especially low-flying triangles.

The video is hardly conclusive, but the humming sound is very eerie and the dog's barking is typical of canine reaction to UFOs. Given the nearby thunderstorm and the lack of proper lighting, it is improbable that this is a blimp. An apparent genuine unknown, and an excellent audio catch.

This object was sighted over the water off Ft. Meyers, Florida yesterday. There is no reason to belileve that this is a CGI effect. It's an unknown, and given the two lights, an unusual one.

This is an unusual video. While it's true that fireflies do swarm in swampy areas, if this was indeed taken in November, it would be unusual to see them out in such numbers in the Florida Panhandle. It's also worth remembering that Ed Walters made his UFO videos in this same area, and that a UFO appeared over Gulf Breeze in the Florida Panhandle for many years. Working against this video is the fact that the witness states that he saw the object shoot up into the sky. If so, then how is it that he doesn't show that event, which would, of course, be strongly suggestive of authenticity? As the video ends in a freeze frame, he cannot claim that he just coincidentally cut off the camera at that moment. So where is the rest of it?
