Out There stories relating to "Airliner UFO"
Wednesday, October 8, 2014
The object pictured here was photographed by a witness from his back yard on October 3 in rural Kansas. We note that it's in what is obviously a busy flight path. There is a video allegedly from an airliner over Seattle that we are less sure of because there is no distinguishing background in the video, no outline of the plane window, no interior shot, etc. However, we're including it here because it was shot at about the same time and the object has a similar appearance. Photo courtesy MUFON.
MUFON has completed its investigation and concluded that the object picture above is probably a leaf. Here is their report:
The photo analysis from two separate sources confirm that all objects in this digital photo are natural identifiable objects. The irregular triangle shaped object has been determined to be either a leaf or a bird in flight.
The investigation was conducted by the Chief Investigator of the Kansas Chapter of MUFON, S. D. Seba. The full investigation findings/report has been posted to the MUFON CMS. On behalf of the Kansas Chapter of MUFON I would like to thank you for your article published on the Unknown Country website and for the comments left by your readers. We sincerely appreciate any and all attention to UFO reports that spark public interest.

Pilots of an Air Canada flight out of Halifax reported seeing a drone 900 feet from their plane, at an altitude of 18,000 feet. The drone was tubular and had a vertical propeller. No commercially available drone has a radio range sufficient to enable it to fly to 18,000 feet, so either this was something constructed by a specialist, a military drone, or an unknown object. Whatever it was, it was doing something extremely dangerous and illegal.

This is a genuine unknown. The object appears very briefly, traveling at high speed. It is NOT the jet producing the contrail, but an object that flies from right to left across the window of the jet, between 14 and 15 seconds.

At 11 seconds in something that could be a large bird speeds past the wing of this landing plane. There appears to be a sound connected with it and passenger reaction. Is it a bird, though? The plane seems to react to it much more violently that one would expect, given no impact. So what was it. One thing is clear: it's unidentified.

This video shows an unusual cloud flashing past an airliner at altitude, moving extremely fast, then includes a clip of a similar object taped in China in 2008. Interesting, indeed. If UFOs are commonly cloaked to appear as clouds, they could be anywhere.
