Update: NASA's press conference has been rescheduled for Thursday and the Michigan man actually had no evidence of any ET life, according to Linda Moulton Howe, who spoke to him. No members of the press appeared at his press conference.

From the story and photo, the object in the meteorite appears red. This was an ice meteorite. One has to wonder if there is any connection to the 'red rain' phenomenon.
