It's not often that a UFO case gets such expert treatment as is seen here in Wes Penre's deeply researched and careful analysis of the Michael Lee Hill Lake Eerie UFO case. Noteworthy is the fact that a documentary that was being done by Spike TV on Hill was abruptly cancelled by 'higher authorities.' As many who have gone down that same road know, all too often, UFO related projects are abruptly cancelled for unknown reasons by media at every level. It is hard to believe that some sort of intervention from the outside is routinely suppressing sensible and positive stories about this subject.

Many UFO reports come from Azerbaijan, but they are rarely mentioned in the west. Unfortunately, the video associated with this report is not available, but the report, if accurate, clearly identifies an unknown object. Russian missile tests are sometimes visible in the area, but this does not appear to be such a test.

Every video expert I send these images to dismisses them as video artifacts until I ask why. Then they say that's what NASA says they are. Frankly, I am having trouble believing that an image such as the one that appears here is a video artifact. There is a line of plasma between the object and the sun that is in no way related to the movement of the solar corona. I have to wonder what the constant appearance of objects such as this over the past five years might mean. If this is not a video artifact, then it is either something enormous interacting with the sun or it's much closer than it appears. If it is a huge object interacting with the sun, then our world is not what it seems.

A Denver man has offered video to a local TV station, claiming that it shows a UFO which he tapes every few days as it moves over the city between noon and 1 pm. The man has provided video which the station has had analyzed by an aviation expert, who says that it is not a bird, a plane or an insect. It is a genuine unknown. The station has also filmed it. So far, this ranks as one of the best UFO cases in recent years.
The most famous recurring UFO case is the Camarillo UFO, which appeared around Thanksgiving over Camarillo, California for six years beginning in 1996. Subscribers can listen to Dr Roger Leir discussing the UFO in December of 2003 in a special interview in our archive.

There is no reason to disbelieve this story reported by India today, the Hindustan Times and other sources. Apparently a large number of glowing orbs have been seen in this isolated area by border guards, starting in August and continuing through October. There is some thought that such objects are precursors to large-scale earth changes.

Myrtle Beach has been a UFO hotspot for a couple of months. In the news story sourced above, a Coast Guard officer theorizes that the objects in the video shown here might have been flares. They certainly seem to burn out like flares, but they cast no light. They don't brighten the sky in any way. So, if they are flares, they must have some purpose other than illumination.

A witness reports that he observed a rectangular object over Wyoming Michigan on October 24. It appeared to be moving at about the speed of a small plane, and the witness estimated its altitude at 800 to 1000 feet. It was not lit like an plane, but rather appeared to be a an illuminated square.

This video was brought to our attention by Mexican UFO expert Jaime Maussan, and it is remarkable. There is no suggestion of hoax in this video taken by a webcam that watches the Popocatepetl volcano. The volcano has been active lately, and threatens a large human population. So what is this object doing? Also, I might add that it strongly resembles glowing bars that have been recorded in Kentucky recently.

This news report confirms that the sighting wave that has been taking place across the central United States is continuing. The multiple witnesses and extensive area they are reporting from strongly suggests a genuine unknown is being seen.

This is obviously a genuine story. There is no question of hoax here. As to what the object the astronomer photographed could be, that is an entirely different question. He offers the comment that it must be of earthly origin, but there is actually no way to determine its origin, let alone what it is. A genuine unknown. The claims that this was a child's toy balloon are absurd. The zoom feature on the camera that took this video could be distorting the shape of a plane, but the voices in the background suggest that witnesses were seeing something they found unusual. To the naked eye, a plane probably would have been obvious. In addition, the glow on the object is quite consistent. If it was a plane, as the angle changed, the glow of the sun on the fuselage would have moved, but it doesn't. Therefore the object may well be emitting the glow itself. This is a possible unknown.
There is no photo or video associated with this account, but it's an interesting one and worth considering. That said, remember, this is the internet. Maybe there is no nurse. Maybe this is simply a work of fiction. One thing about the UFO phenomenon always to remember: the questions come FIRST.

An alert Unknowncountry fan has very decisively proved that the Massachusetts 'mass sighting' video is a hoax. The video linked at 'Story Source" below, allegedly made in Hawaii in 2011, is virtually identical. In fact, it is the same video.

This could be a balloon, but the fact that jets came up to investigate strongly suggests otherwise. The US Air Force often investigates UFO activity, as was proven when MUFON investigators obtained documents about USAF activities over Stephenville, Texas during the UFO flap that took place there in 2008. The Air Force had denied its interest in the objects.
This object is displaying unusual lights, but it really could be anything, even something launched by a hoaxer. Nevertheless, the video is a good one, and the possibility that we are looking at a genuine unknown must be seriously considered.
Looking at this, one has to wonder if some sort of weather-related weapon or system is involved. During this year of extremely strange weather in the UK, it would not be too surprising if some effort was being made to alter climactic conditions. But no government would ever admit this, due to the fact that the public would begin asking too many questions.

This photograph, taken by accident in New South Wales, shows a wingless, metallic object that was moving so fast that it was visible in only one of two snapshots taken seconds apart. It's not a plane, a bug or a bird, so that leaves the unknown.

Is this bigfoot? As always, a hoax is possible, but this footage could be the best shot of the face of a bigfoot ever made. More work needs to be done, such as determining whether or not the facial proportions are human or possibly a mask or makeup job, but there would appear to be a pretty good chance this is authentic.

US drone, Iranian spyplane--both unlikely possibilities. Israeli air defense would have been able to recognize either one immediately. So what was it? It's unlikely we'll ever be told, but we do know that they identified it as non-threatening within minutes or they never would have re-opened their airspace.

Two Wisconsin Unknowncountry readers filed this report of a close encounter with a triangle UFO on the night of October 7.
Date of Sighting/Encounter: October 7, 2012
Time of Sighting/Encounter: 8:20 P.M.
Location of Encounter: In Langlade county Wisconsin West of the town of Langlade.
Details of Encounter: On highway 64 traveling east my wife and I saw what looked like a plane or jet. Upon further observation the craft stopped and hovered over the side of the highway over some trees. We pulled the car over to see that it was triangle shaped with about 12 lights on each side. There was also a lit triangle with a half sphere towards the center of the craft. All the lights on the craft were pulsing very bright cool white, about 300 feet above the ground. As we both looked directly at the craft and the lights stopped pulsing but stayed lit. The top of the craft appeared to be backlit, with a halo of light coming from the top. We were both so awe struck that sadly and unfortunately we were not able to take a picture. It was so close and so vivid it was an image I'll never forget.
No other witnesses have filed a report from the same area, so this must remain unverified.

This image was taken by an Unknowncountry reader near Bennington Vermont at about 7 in the evening. She did not see the objects at the time, and a second frame, shot a moment later, does not show them. They are not a lens effect, or, if so, then an unusual one. They shot was taken outdoors, so the objects are not light reflected off glass. There are some water droplets on the camera lens, but they do not appear to be connected to the glowing objects. The slight distortion of the objects would suggest speed of motion.This is almost certainly a shot of very fast moving unknown objects. Interestingly, the witness reports a non-threatening encounter with an orb like entity in her home a few nights before.
A small unknown object has been photographed on Mars by the Chemistry Camera's remote microimager. The assumption is that this is a shard of plastic from the lander itself. Whether it will be analyzed or not remains to be seen. However, if another such object should be observed, it is hoped that an analysis would take place--at least by this Curiosity fan!"Here is the rover team's current assessment: "Curiosity's main activity in the 62nd sol of the mission (Oct. 8, 2012) was to image a small, bright object on the ground using the Remote Micro-Imager of the Chemistry and Camera (ChemCam) instrument."
"The rover team's assessment is that the bright object is something from the rover, not Martian material. It appears to be a shred of plastic material, likely benign, but it has not been definitively identified."
Our thought: the Martian surface is very old and very untouched. It would be an ideal place to locate artifacts left by alien explorers.
The object is difficult to see in the imagery provided by NASA, but you can pick it out if you enlarge the image in the article. This has been cropped from that image and the contrast slightly altered. The object is the long, pointed bit just to left of center in the frame.

Brian Vike of the Vike Factor reports that there is a significant spike in UFO sightings in British Columbia at this time. Some of these sightings are exceptionally detailed, and suggest an extensive presence in the area at this time. We are also getting anecdotal reports of orbs of light entering peoples' homes from Southern California to British Columbia. So far, there have been four of these reports--not many, but more from a single region than we have ever before received at whitley@strieber.com. British Columbia was also the location of one of the best documented multiple witness close encounter cases of all times, the Corrina Saebels case. There is little question but that this object was hovering in the sky. It is not a bird or insect flashing past. It is not maneuvering like a plane or, for that matter, a surveillance drone. It's an unknown. The object appeared in central London, between the Houses of Parliament and the offices of MI6.

Friday September 21st, approximately 4.15, in the vicinity of Lambeth Bridge (very close to Parliament, MI6 & MI5 HQ's and Central Communication Command, nerve centre for South London Policing.) Video shot looking North, about quarter of a mile South of the Thames. Object moved very slowly in a southerly direction, all the clouds in the sky were moving eastwards. Unfortunately i couldn't make out the obeject in the view screen as the sky was very bright in comparison. I stopped filming in order to move to a better position but the object had vanished by the time i got there.
Today, Monday 24th September, i spoke with a coffee vendor who runs a coffee stall on the Embankment next to Lambeth Bridge and he said other people had seen something also. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this is in the last miliseconds of the shot. What was the secondary object that flashed across the frame? Perhaps a missile launched at the first object? It is visible for only 3 frames or one tenth of a second.

I am often asked if I have any favorite videos, so I thought I'd post a few on weekends. As you know, your oh-so-cynical Out There editor usually comes down on the side of hoaxes and mistakes of various kinds--especially when it comes to video of actual aliens. However, this is among my favorites, an amazing security-camera video of two very strange creatures creeping through the dark of a property near Yosemite.
This has never been debunked, and it would not be easy to create in an animation program. Not impossible, of course, but my money's on this being authentic. Creepiness note: If you listen to the first David Paulides show on Dreamland, he says that Yosemite is an area where there are a large number of unexplained disappearances. If you didn't listen, you have a treat in store. It's in our archive, available if you subscribe.

Unless this is an outright hoax, it shows unknown objects rising off the surface of the moon. It would be easy to hoax, unfortunately, but if it's real, it is an extraordinary catch.

These three night lights may be a group of UFOs in rough triangular formation, but there is no way to be sure given the fact that there is no detail. Local residents were shocked because of the lack of sound, and it's not likely that a UFO hoax would be perpetrated in a war zone, so these may well be genuine unknowns. Because the lights change position in relation to each other, it's not a single aircraft such as a US spy plane.
