This is a typical blinking night light. It appears to be triangular in shape, or three objects close together. The lighting pattern is not typical of aircraft, although it could be some sort of a blimp at great distance. Probable unknown.

A local science museum is claiming responsibility for the UFO that appeared during a baseball game two nights in a row this week. So far, they have not released any photos of the object on the ground. Until they actually show it in operation and under their control in daylight, the case remains open.

This object was in the sky, not a CGI effect, but is it a UFO or a radio controlled blimp designed to appear to be a UFO? Frankly, without being able to gauge its size, I cannot come to a conclusion. Possible unknown.

Recently a UFO photographed over Phoenix was found to be a high flying NASA research balloon. This looks like something similar, but has nothing of the appearance of the NASA balloon. Could it be an amateur effort to create a UFO, or are research balloons becoming more common? It appears to morph into a rocket-like shape, complete with an exhaust glow. There is enough strangeness here to warrant a look.

This witness has a good camera setup and gets a lot of footage of unknowns as a result. While there is more activity is some places than in others, setting up an automatic sky recording system will result in at least an occasional unknown being captured on video. In places where there is lots of visible sky and not a lot of ambient light, more will be observed. Using infra-red cameras will bring even more. Fifty years ago, a UFO was a startling and rare sight. This is no longer true. They are relatively common all over the world. This is a particularly good 'catch,' though.

I just happened pick this up thanks to Suzanne Chancellor's posting in on the Whitley Strieber Society on Face Book. If this is a real video, it appears to be something in some sort of trouble, dropping flaming wreckage. No reports of any air crashes in the region in late May.

The witness reports that she noticed lightning in a clear sky and went out with her camera. She then saw an object at altitude and angling down. In close up, it appears to have a tail. No wings are visible. Even if it is a plane, though, its attitude indicates that it is in an emergency situation. There were no reports of crashes in the area. So, are we looking at the outcome of some sort of secret battle, or a technical failure of some kind. Sure appears that way.

Food for thought. If Dr. Barrie Tower is telling even a small part of the truth, there are terrifying weapons capabilities that can be directed not just against the body of an individual, but against his mind. Put things like that into the hands of people who are hidden behind laws that protect them from scrutiny and exempt their actions from due process, and you have trouble.

This video is a reminder that the huge conehead skulls of Peru are not explained. They are structurally different from normal human skulls and they contained 25% larger brains. Who were they? What were they? You can be sure of one thing: the scientific establishment does not care to find out. Nobody has the courage to tell the truth, which is that they do not appear to be human.

This Walt Disney documentary introduced by Disney CEO Michael Eisner was shown in only 5 cities before disappearing without a trace. It is scripted as if there is an expectations that aliens are going to land any day. It never went anywhere. Obviously, the expected landing never took place, either. Something was anticipated in the nineties. It never happened. Nevertheless it's a fascinating artifact of what was probably part of a plan to prepare us for contact.

Well known UFO researcher and Dreamland guest Stan Gordon offers this excellent workup on an incident that took place in Virginia last May.

Stan writes on his website UFO Anomalies Zone:

The man was driving a heavy duty pickup truck and was heading east at about 10 PM, when he observed three bright lights in a triangular pattern, about 300 feet above the ground. The witness, trying to figure out what he was seeing, stopped dead in the road as there was no other local traffic. He noticed that there was one light on the top and two other lights were on the bottom. Each light was bright white and described as “white like porcelain.” The lights were about each about 8-10 feet in diameter. The lights, while brilliant, did not cast any reflective light. No sound could be heard at that time. The lights appeared to be attached to a solid device.

The man, who didn’t believe in UFOs, realized that no one would believe his story so he grabbed his cell phone which was quite new and which worked very well to take some pictures of the strange lights. The man opened his window and leaned out as he pointed the camera at the object. When he pointed the camera towards the lights, the man stated that camera suddenly went to a black screen and would not allow him to operate any camera functions. As soon as he brought the camera back into the cab of his vehicle the camera operated normally. Two more times the witness attempted to take pictures, but the same malfunction would occur each time he aimed the camera at the object.

The man had been watching the object for about three minutes when suddenly the triangular configuration rose straight up into the sky like a rocket with a tremendous sound that was louder than any jet he was familiar with. The witness had in fact heard the sound from a Concord jet and said that this sound made the Concord sound quiet. The rumbling sound was so intense that it shook his large heavy duty truck and could be felt in the man’s stomach.

There is nothing about this video that suggests that it is a hoax. This unknown object was recorded in Bulgaria a few nights ago. The one thing that stops your Out There editor from declaring this gold-standard genuine is that the YouTube poster regularly posts UFO video. While certain people are known to attract the attention of UFOs, it is unusual for a single individual to have so many sightings. Once or twice in a lifetime yes, but not every few weeks. Still, the video does appear genuine.

Contrary to some of the opinions being offered in the comments section beneath this image on YouTube, this photo is unlikely to depict a bird. However, it could be a radio-controlled plane moving at high speed much closer to the camera than it appears. It could also be a genuine unknown.

Last December, Out There published the first half of a strong minidocumentary on the Turkish UFO incidents of 2009, which remain among the most powerful and unusual UFO cases ever to occur. The creator of the film has now finished part two, and it's just as strong. It includes Dr. Roger Leir describing his own firsthand account. Dr. Leir was present during part of the May, 2009 event. To watch part one, click here.

The author has also created an excellent blog about the incident.

This video is almost certainly authentic. It shows a disk appearing, then a series of events that appear to involve some sort of electrical plasma over a swimming pool. It's taken with a surveillance camera. Your Out There editor considers this one of the most unusual UFO videos ever recorded. If it isn't a hoax, and nothing would surprise me, then we are looking at an event involving very advanced technology.

This one was interesting enough for us to call on our experts. The video really starts to become clear 3 minutes in, and remains clear off and on through 7 minutes. Here is an expert opinion:

Looks and sounds pretty good. Seems to be an actual object, though it could easily have been one of those LED-equipped quadcopters -- its impossible to tell shape, size or distance in this video.

Misc. observations:

LaPrairie is a southeastern suburb of Montreal, so if the object were seen in the direction of the sunset, and at any significant distance from the camera, it would have been seen by many others. So far I can't find any other videos of this quite persistent sighting.

The date of the sighting is variously posted on YouTube as June 7, June 15 and July 15. June is most probable due to the woman's comment about the longest day of the year coming up.

The camera is a bit of a puzzle. It's a still camera that also shoots video, and is explicitly being handheld. It shakes convincingly enough (assuming image stabilization) except it never seems to tilt horizon-wise. Hard to say most of the time, but when we see the nearby lights it's fairly obvious. Maybe he was resting the camera on something -- a balcony railing, etc...

The comments being made by the observers seem genuine.

"I was changing a CD as I was driving and when I looked up I saw what looked like a car without its lights on, stopped in the middle of the road outside Shantytown. I slammed on my brakes and my eyes were still trying to focus, when suddenly the thing just lit up and shot into the sky." The witness adds that other drivers must have seen it, but so far no reports. Was this a UFO or a secret aircraft? Because he also states that it became extremely bright as it rose, your Out There editor votes for something from the unknown.

This object would appear to be a plane on descent with its landing lights on during the day, but the videographer says that the local Leeds-Bradford Airport is not visible in that direction from his window. It would also be easy to create a computer graphic that would look like this, but this is the only UFO video he has posted, so it's a definite maybe. Normally, hoaxers have many such videos posted.

An alien disappearing in a Beijing street? Not really. It's almost certainly a simple computer graphic. We're publishing it because it's getting a lot of hits. Just a reminder that not everything out there is what it seems.

This brief video from British Columbia could show a bigfoot, assuming that they are a form of hominid, not an ape. When the individual stands up, he, she (or it??) has a humanoid stance, not that of an ape. It then moves off down the hillside, walking, again, like a being with a humanoid skeletal structure. It appears to be fairly tall, possibly over six feet.

The object in this photograph was seen hovering over the site of a Lake Michigan plane crash that killed two people. Whether or not the object caused the crash is not known. The object would appear to be either a cluster of balloons or an unknown. Unfortunately, it never made any movements that would definitely establish it as an unknown. There is no information about whether or not the pilot reported anything prior to the crash. The plane went down in 42 feet of water. The 1975 Piper Cherokee was enroute to Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

This frame grab shows what appears to be a convincing UFO shot from a small plane over Japan. The video, however, has been made private on YouTube. Link to source for larger image.

This video is MUFON's selection for the best UFO video of 2012. It's pretty impressive, but the images available suggest that it is just possible that it could be a group of balloons tied to a central platform to which small flashing LEDs have been affixed. But the MUFON's new Science Review Board headed by Robert Powell is an impressive group, and if they think enough of this video to give it high marks, then I agree. Like Alejandro Rojas of Open Minds, I'll be eager to see their final report.

This UFO passes view at a very high speed. Your Out There Editor isn't sure if the final frame is of the same object, but the extreme speed would seem to rule out a bird or ordinary aircraft, although the frozen image has the faint appearance of a helicopter.

A witness observed some UFOs yesterday in Wachula, Florida about sunset on July 20. Then at 9PM he began to hear unusual rumbling and went outside to see the sky full of fighter jets that appeared to be chasing very fast, bright objects that would 'turn with pinpoint precision.' A total of 8 witnesses watched as 55 objects darted around the jets, which were unable to even come close to matching their maneuvers. After about an hour, there was just one UFO left, which began bobbing in place, still easily outmaneuvering the jets. After another hour of this, the UFO "disappeared into thin air."

If this is an accurate and true account, it ranks as one of the most extraordinary UFO events in history. If you were also a witness to this event, please write out_there@unknowncountry.com.

Normally Out There doesn't post images of UFOs seen in Solar and Heliospheric Observatory photos, because the great majority of them are video artifacts. But this one may not be a video artifact. It does appear that the structure continues down behind the disk of the sun. The poster is right: if this was a video artifact, it would involve the solar disk as well, not continue down behind it.

This is high strangeness, for sure.

Singer Ryan Adams reported that he and other motorists saw a huge UFO being chased by helicopters, but then deleted his tweets about the subject from his Twitter feed. He tweeted "three cops were tearing ass in its direction in oncoming traffic. Thing was huge." And again, "Choppers in the air near it."
These tweets were soon removed from his profile. So far, we have received no other reports of this event.

2 time NBA all star Baron Davis is claiming that he was abducted and taken aboard a UFO about two weeks ago outside of Las Vegas. “They were poking me on my nose and they were, like, looking me in my eyes," he told the New York Daily News. A true story, or an attempt to get publicity for his podcast? So far, he's sticking to it--or not. He has both insisted that it is a true story and tweeted that it's a joke. Where does your Out There editor come out? His descriptions of what happened to him, and the emotional intensity involved ring true, but, hey, it's Baron Davis, practical joker extraordinaire.

The object pictured in this video by photographer Drew Ryan has appeared over the Empire Bay area in New South Wales on July 3--as it happened, World UFO Day. According to Mr. Ryan and others, it has been seen before on at least five occasions. This rules out a meteor--as does its movement--as well as essentially all other prosaic explanations. A high probability that this is a genuine unknown.

This doesn't appear to be a bird, plane or balloon. It's far too thin to be a balloon and in any case is not flying. It shows no reaction to the air mass at all. It is held aloft by something that does not rely on air like a wing or gas bag. Toward the end of the video, the object slowly turns end on, until it is just a dot. Could it be a CGI effect? Yes, but your Out There editor is giving it the benefit of the doubt. Probable genuine unknown.
