Out there originally wrote: Everything about this video suggests authenticity. In Portuguese, the men are talking with such surprise and excitement that it is hard to believe that they have faked this. Of course, there is always that possiblity, but the video shows no obvious evidence of it. Dropping fireballs have been a feature of a number of recent videos from different parts of the world. Graded B.
Normally, this part of the website doesn't authenticate videos, as it states on the Out There page, but Mr. Strieber sent this one to some of the experts he works with. Here are there opinions:

Whitley it's real hard to tell. I wish people would upload these full res as
YouTube has the ability for 720-1080p.
It looks great but I noticed some popping effect when it first comes out of
the cloud. The cloud is real and I don't see any added volumetric. But I
wonder if the popping is pixels in the compression or his added effect if
any. It's hard to imagine that someone talented enough to do this would let
a popping or jerking go by.
I looked and looked for reactive lighting in the clouds from the bright blue
light flash. I stared at the edges of the clouds trying not to notice the
internal flash and didn't see any. But this is broad day light and we might
not under these conditions.
The light brightness looks a bit off to me. But then again who is to say
what it would look like it just looks too much like a Sci-Fi movie effect.
But it sure has that odd feeling and look to it that you and I have both
seen. Much like the Camarillo video I shot it gets super bright and drops us
little probes. Again if we could get the real video and analyze it proper
I'm sure we could no one way or the other.

It strikes me as an effect. The "fireball" portion of the video looks especially suspicious to me. The glow does not seem to illuminate the interior of the cloud, nor does the lens flare seem accurate for the camera or conditions. That's not a scientific opinion, just my personal take.

The light does not diffuse correctly in the cloud, but the big issue I have is at 39 seconds, just before the black truck passes left to right - the ‘UFO’ disappears - a poorly timed ‘edit’ by the fakers I suspect…
Next Step
Mr. S. has taken a direct interest in this and will inquire about it with Brazillian UFO investigators.

This is either a neat magic trick or a genuine mystery. The only known way a person could become magnetic would be to have magnetized iron in their blood, but, even if this was possible, the magnetism generated would not be enough to hold up a spoon, let alone a skillet. If this is for real, it's an extraordinary anomaly.

Red and green lights are commonly reported in connection with UFOs, but the transformation that occurs here is pretty remarkable. There is no reason to assume that this is a CGI effect or some normal object. Graded B.

Black panthers are rare animals found in parts of South America and Africa, so what was a six foot long black cat doing strolling across a driveway in Folsom, Louisiana? Has it escaped from captivity, migrated north, or is this another in the long, long list of phantom cat sightings that are a worldwide phenomenon? The video is graded A. The only possible problem with it is if the angle of the shot distorted the image of an ordinary cat, making it appear larger than it is. But this is unlikely, given that nothing else in the image is distorted.

This could easily be a CGI effect, but there is not enough data in the image to be certain. Telltale: why is the camera searching for the UFO before it appears? Was it because the videographer had seen the UFO, then rushed to the window with the camera, or was it for effect? Graded C.

The images depicted here are being described as 'alien bases' found on Google Space. We don't know what they are, but the likelihood is that there is an ordinary explanation. Nevertheless, they are unusual enough to deserve a look.

This night video shows objects that are not strobing like planes, and are not an FAA-approved color for nighttime running lights. It appears to be authentic but, because it is night video, it is impossible to be certain that it is not some known object. Graded C.

UFO activity remains high in the US, and Pennsylvania is no exception.
It's always possible that this is a bird in midflilght caught at a moment when its wings were folded, or a distant plane moving in such a way that it appears wingless, but it's also possible that this is a genuine UFO.

A substantial meteor crossed the eastern US at approximately 12:45 PM yesterday, and another fireball caused residents to report a possible plane crash in the UK 7 hours later, at 12:20 AM local time. The object that crossed the eastern US probably weighed around a hundred tons, and would have done signifcant damage if it had reached the ground. However, there were no reports of damage. The second fireball was probably smaller, but also a substantial meteor.

This is a good example of an interesting night light video. The light moves past stars and foreground objects, so it is under power. It has internal illumination. It manuevers, dims and brightens. It doesn't behave like a plane or any normal object that might be aloft at night. Graded B.

Now he had send us another shot said to be a higher resolution image that shows that the object is clearly a bird. But because there is no surrounding imagery, we have no way of telling if this is taken from the same photo.

Of course, it could be a helicopter, but if so, why is it the only distorted object in an otherwise crystal-clear photo. Objects with a similar configuration have been seen over northern California and Brazil.

This object was snapped by accident by an Unknowncountry reader in West Virginia at 4:36 PM on Feburary 8. The circle around it was present in the sky. It was not added later. The sun is setting to the left in the larger shot, and there is a faint sun dog. But the object stands out clearly, and the ring around it is not consistent with a solar reflection. Interesting image could easily be hoaxed, so no way to grade it above C. Still, most interesting and our gut says it's real. Graded C.

This Google Street View image was sent to us by a German reader. It's quite a shocker. Unless someone at Google is playing games, which is always possible, this is an excellent UFO image.

This is not a computer graphic, it is not a plane or a group of small planes, and it is not a constellation or other stars would be visible. A genuine unknown. Graded B.

The Texas UFOs continue. Are they some sort of classified military equipment, or is the military just watching them? Since Stephensville 2 years ago, central Texas has been a UFO hotspot.
No way to evaluate this nighttime video except to say that it looks interesting.

The cries are very faint. They are not the loud crunching noises. The first clearly audible ones start at :30 seconds. Be prepared to be chilled to the bone by these strange and lonely cries. There is desperation in that voice.
