In January of 2010, an object appeared over Newfoundland that appeared to be a rocket or missile. It was investigated by Canadian authorities and declared an unknown. This object videotaped yesterday in China seems strikingly similar. To see our story about the Newfoundland rocket, click here.

This object flashed quite dramatically. It doesn't appear to be a known object and the video is likley not a CGi effect.

This creature has the claws of a badger, but its head has the structure of a dog's and it has a long tail. It was discovered dead on a road in Minnesota.

This story is remarkable for two reasons: first, that it is there at all; second that the BBC reporters accept the story and report it objectively. Timothy Good offers a very intelligent commentary after the report. Altogether, an excellent story.

The farmer whose field received this gorgeous formation threatened to spray people entering it. He has harvested the field. Ah, life on a falling world, such a delight. Will the angels catch YOU in time?

This object has been dismissed as a LED kite, but these new videos make that less clear. For one thing, wind velocities were low over Sao Paolo on July 23. Were they high enough to keep a large rotating kite fitted with lights and batteries aloft? Unfortunately, without knowing the weight of the kite, it's impossible to be certain. Perhaps somebody will come forward with a definitive explanation. However, it never carries out any manuevers that couldn't be done by a kite, so, until proven otherwise, this will continue to be our assumption here.

Another YouTube video has appeared of a magnetic child. There is no authoritative study of why this is happening, but it appears to be an unusual effect, so far without explanation. Or are the objects simply being glued to the kids? Anybody who has seen this effect personally, or is magentic, is encouraged to write whitley@strieber.com. We are eager to study this.

In June Peter Lindberg of the Ocean Explorer found an unusual object 285 feet down on the floor of the Baltic Sea. Now additional images show a clear skidmark behind the object. So what is it? The skidmark would suggest that it was once seaborne, and that it was moving fast when it struck the bottom. Is it, perhaps, a crashed Nazi secret aircraft? They were working on flying wings and even more exotic forms during the war, and some say VERY exotic forms. Or could it be a crashed spacecraft from another world? Lindberg has said, "...during my 18 years as a professional I have never seen anything like this." But he has no plans, he claims, to dive the wreck because his company seeks sunken treasure, not sunken UFOs.

Or does he? He hasn't published the precise location of the wreck and if it was an alien spacecraft it would, obviously, be the most valuable object ever found in the history of the world. So, will we hear more? Let's hope it won't be ignored or disappear into some secret vault. Out There's bet is on a crashed Nazi secret weapon, but you never know...

Vancouver UFO Skywatch maintains a live UFO skywatch on UStream, which captured this object crossing the sky, then suddenly vanishing. It could be a high altitiude meteor skimming the atmosphere, or even a high-flying aircraft of some sort, but it is most likely an unknown.

This could well be a CGI effect, but there is also a blurry object overtaking a black car on the road in the bottom of the frame that probably isn't, so we are including this on the off chance that there might be somethng to it.

Obviously not a hoax. No zoom, either but it's clear enough that the object, which is rapidly changing color, is not a star. It is an unknown, and similar to an object that appeared for many years over Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Thanks to Linda Moulton Howe and Earthfiles.com, we have received an excellent video of a strange object that comes down from the sky, loops over land, then goes back up. It was taken by the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport Tower Cam, and is definitley not a special effect.

There appears to be some heavy duty UFO activity taking place in California. Big Bear is not that far from Joshua Tree.

Whitley Strieber sent us this with this comment, "We used to hear footsteps on the porch of our cabin, but no matter how fast we got out there, we never saw anybody. What happened to these folks in Joshua Tree must have been really terrifying."

This is an odd one. Certainly, it's not a CGI effect, but what the objects may be is another question. These could be genuine unknowns.

A Mexican TV station reports a UFO that they claim was videotaped over Roswell, New Mexico. There are no US reports of this object known to us. According to the report, the object rose rapidly into the sky as a red light, then became an enormous lighted object with a contrail. It's probably a real video, but it could easily be a meteor. Unfortunately, there is no footage of it rising into the sky, so it's not possible to tell if this part of the story--the crucial part--is true.
This elaborate object is much more spectacular than most UFOs. In fact, it's one of the most spectacular UFOs ever recorded. But is it really a UFO, or is it something manmade, such as a kite. We'll probably never know the answer, but it is beautiful.

A number of recent crop formations have been truly incredibe, completly impossible to produce by any known means. An excellent example is the huge formation at Etchilhampton, which displays a ring of woven wheat of an intircacy that cannot be explained. A formation such as this could not be made, for example, by some sort of a laser device pointing down from above, because the wheat must be literally woven like a carpet, and done without breaking the dry stems. Another at Roundway Hill near Devizes is also extraordinarily intricate and beautiful.

Unfortunately, nobody keeps accurate international UFO statistics, but this compilation of videos does suggest that July was a very active month.

This is probably an archaeological ruin or a geologic formation. Hopefully, somebody will take a closer look at some point. If it's a craft of some kind, it could well be the most extraordinary object ever discovered.

You need to look closely to see this. Of course the question has to be asked: why did the videographer happen to be shooting video of the moon at that moment? Nevertheless, potentially authentic footage. Too low resolution to resolve the tampering issue, unfortunately, but appears authentic.

What makes this video so strange is the fact that the person shooting it is saying that there shouldn't be any people there. And then one of them stands up and--well, it's just plain odd.

The observations of the Inuit are certainly worth careful thought. Their changing horizon could be caused by contraction of polar ice, but it is also true that axial tilt would be more noticeable to the naked eye in the far north and far south. So far, no telescopes in the middle lattitudes have reported anything, and one would think that they would if they were seeing it. Certainly it would be readily obvious from their measurements. Or would they report something so controversial? More than anything, modern scientists fear controversies, especially sensational ones.

Extreme drought does strange things to soils. As the moisture disappears, they lose their adhesion. This is why the gigantic dust storm just occurred in Arizona. It's so dry that the desert itself has ceased to be a tightly packed surface. This could also be the case in a Texas town, except for the fact that this place looks wet.

Lake Erie has been a UFO hotspot for years. This footage is interesting toward the end, when the object comes quite close to the camera, about 8 minutes in. Because it is night, of course, it could be something easily explained, but the genuine surprise of the videographer suggests otherwise.

This Mexican UFO was dismissed as a meteor, despite its unusual configuration. Now a similar object has been seen over Georgia.
